Negative experience: We explicitly asked to do a regulary checkup with our insurance. Before the checkup cleaning was insisted and nobody told us it was not covered. They wanted us to pay 500AED for a 10m cleaning. Afterwards the doctor vanished. Saying sorry does not solve this unfair customer service, I do not recommend this place, avoid! Very unfair.

Negative experience: I’m honestly very disappointed with how this clinic handle there appointments. They only have one doctor for braces, and she’s available just one week per month sometimes she doesn’t show up at all for the entire month! If you miss an appointment, the next available one is two months later from your last appointment, which is ridiculous. Today, I had an appointment at 1:45 PM. I arrived on time and they even called me 30 minutes before to confirm which I did. But to my surprise when I got there they let someone else in before me even though I was already present and waiting! I ended up sitting there for 15 minutes and when I asked I was told the doctor was still working on that patient. This isn’t the first time something like this happens I’ve already complained before about it. That’s it for me. I’m done. I’m moving to another clinic.

Negative experience: Thank you for wasting my time to come to the clinic : after my appointment was modified and confirmed by the Filipina reception yesterday, I arrive at the clinic to be informed by a gentleman at the reception that my insurance is not used anymore. If it wasn't for the gentleman, the issue would have not been known. As for the Filipina reception, informing your customers about changes in the insurance and policies, is a BASIC. At the time that you're checking / confirming appointments, this is a first that you should convey to your customers over the phone as a reception attendant! So that we don't waste our time coming there. We plan our day around our appointments. Dr. Ghassan has been wonderful all this time he has attended to me.

Fantastic experience: My child was very anxious and afraid at first but thanks to Dr. Amer’s patience and kindness, the fear slowly but surely faded. He took the time to reassure my child, making sure he felt safe throughout the entire process. Dr. Amer even offered toys to help ease his anxiety. Fantastic experience: I had a chipped Veneer tooth that I had to get fixed, I visited Dr. Rim Younes and I must say I’m more than satisfied and really happy about her care, she explained my case to me in detail and what I needed. Fantastic experience: If you looking for a dentist in Abu Dhabi READ THIS. As an Irish expat it is always difficult finding a dentist that has the right mix of expertise, experience and to be frank pricing that you feel is comfortable for you. Especially being close to Dubai where it can be very cheap sometimes at the sacrifice of quality. All of these factors are important, however, for me, there is none more important than TRUST. Enter Dr Areez Alfarisi and Sparkle Dental Clinic. Sparkle, provide great communication via WhatsApp or email with confirmations and reminders, quick and friendly staff which are attentive both virtually and in person. Their premises in Khalifa is a great location close to Yas and surrounding areas (perfect for an Irish expat such as myself local to the area) with a coffee shop inside and comfortable large seating areas as well as basic to state of the art treatments for VERY COMPETITIVE pricing. Now, to Dr Areez. What can I say. She is an expert in general dentistry all the way to very advanced procedures. She is very patient, attentive, extremely professional and actually LISTENS to what you want instead of forces an opinion (like other dentists) Dr Areez provides honest and direct feedback and multiple options for you to consider for your treatments. (even if it does not include her doing the procedure!) Dr Areez makes you feel very calm and safe during procedures and allows to stop for breaks, rinses, to play music if you wish, etc. Your comfort and satisfaction is her priority and that comes across in abundance. I have since had extractions, scaling, x-rays, polish, composite fillings, and look to doing more soon to obtain a great level of dental health. Picture as an example of the work done. On a more personal note I have had a seriously bleak and neglectful outlook on my dental health for YEARS however with Dr Areez, I now feel back in control of this part of my life. Dr Areez is an astute professional and genuinely a warm and beautiful soul who you will feel comfortable and at ease around in moments of potential vulnerability which speaks volumes about her character and professional capability. If you are looking for a new dentist and someone you can TRUST that has EVERYTHING you would want or need, do not just choose Sparkle, choose Dr Areez Alfarisi. May god bless her and her family.

Negative experience: Unfortunately this service is no longer as it used to be. This clinic was great with kids 5 years ago! Treated my daughter extremely nicely and professionally preparing kids for first-time dentist visit. I took my 4 years old son this afternoon, - The appointment was 45 minutes delayed! - Not kids friendly. Not welcoming, and has not prepared kids properly. We ended up leaving without checking my boy’s teeth. Will definitely take the kids to another clinic.

However, each time I end up waiting to see the doctor for approximately an hour and a half. ‏Additionally, I have noticed a lack of organization in managing time and unprofessionalism in scheduling appointments at the correct and expected times for cases. It seems that each patient takes longer there timing, and in cases where rescheduling is necessary, you can communicate with patients via phone to inform them instead of wasting their time. ‏I have rearranged many things in my schedule only to have my time wasted in return. This will be my last interaction with your clinic. Thank you.

Considering my case, I am really pleased with the results she obtained until today. She fixed the problems that were causing me to bite improperly. There was also an impacted tooth that failed to fully emerge through the gums, but she was able to bring it back to its normal position. I want to also recommend to Dr. Ghassan Shaath that he intervened through the process to extract one of my wisdom teeth, and he did it smoothly and painlessly. Positive experience: Nice dentist doctor Ghassan is the best dentist there. However my younger brother went to a different doctor there and did his teeth but got an infection that stayed for a week, the doctor gave him some medication to take but it got worse and half of his face was swollen.

Negative experience: I just took my child to check up, but the experience was not pleasant at all. We asked the doctor to use the Nitrous oxide but she refused, so my child has to go through the whole process crying with 3 nurses holding tightly ! Am sure this is my last visit to this clinic.

Negative experience: عيادة استغلالية من اجل حجز موعد لطفلي (عمره 6 سنوات) و في حالت الم شديد طلبت 500 درهم في حال بكاءة .. شي مخالف جدا و استغلالي تم تقديم شكوي I was trying to book an appointment for my son who is 6 years old. I was surprised by the reception requesting a 500 Dhs if my son was crying or misbehaved during the treatment. given that he is a kid and will definitely be in pain. Unprofessional Clinic I am very disappointment

Negative experience: Do not ever go there again... I removed a teeth in this clinic and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days because the doctor did not clean after removal, those days were very hard and the pain made me wish to die instead. They made my life difficult and I wanted to do veneers in that clinic but I stopped going to dentists because of them.

Negative experience: On my first visit , the dentist wanted me finished quickly so he could go home, he left before I did. When I went in, he was aloof and quite rude. Then I was told I had to book 4 appointments in advance two weeks ahead , so I did. When I went to my appointment the receptionist told me the dentist cancelled all my appointments because I didnt answer the phone when they called me two weeks ago. Some of us work. No one had the courtesy to call at least the day before or a week before to confirm my actual appointment. Just cancelled all of them without a word instead. I have never seen or heard anything like it.

Negative experience: It’s a one star because of Child service, which costs 500 AED not covered by insurance. I was given a service that considered normal comparing to other dentistries, like talking to the child, preparing her for treatment. BTW, I stood with my child to ease her while treatment, Maybe I should’ve been paid 500. FYI other dentistries provide two nurses as well. I paid the 500 Dirhams, but you lost us as a customer. Going back to my usual Dentistry. The reply below from the owner is copied and pasted from different feedback you gave before. I am very clear as many other reviews, the service is normal as any other Dentistry. The customer need to feel that the 500 dirhams are worth it and the service is noticeably different than competitors, who charge ZERO.

Dr. Maher will never propose unnecessary work and will always ensure the procedure is thoroughly explained and then perfectly executed! He offers the best knowledge in his field and will always give his patients top quality care & treatment Faclities are top notch! I had a lot of work done and was very well taken care of starting from the barista to the receptionists and up until the dentist’s office all very nice and very welcoming staff. I am a returning patient of Dr. Maher and will continue to go to him for any future dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had a very special and complicated case since I was born with a condition that made my teeth extremely sensitive, and crowned my teeth earlier in life with several unified bridges at a time. I came to Sparkle Dental seeking a skilled doctor who had to be extremely patient and sport an impeccable bedside manner as I have had my share in the past of unnecessary comments, heavy handed medical care personnel and did not wish and could not imagine embarking on a full dental reconstruction project in an environment or with a person who exhibited bad bedside manners, low patients or heavy handedness... As a result I interviewed potential doctors and researched different facilities. No one cut it for me till I had the good fortune of entering this amazing clinic. From the welcoming staff at the very front desk Hanaa and Najwa, who facilitated my journey from beginning to end with extreme professionalism and mostly true genuine engagement to the most epic dentist in history of man kind, Dr. Maher Abdeljawad. Dr Maher is well educated and masterfully skilled. To put it simply "The man knows his craft, and he KNOWS it", so he is extremely confident but not arrogant, which is helpful if you are anything like me, and get turned off by such qualities. Dr. Maher was not only patient, but deliberately patient. He was calculated. He saw me more than once, and mulled over my case before he decided to give it a go. Dr. Maher did not only have a proper bedside manner, but he had a good sense of humor, which helps when you are engaged in a long term sometimes painful project. Dr. Maher was also honorable in his conduct, meaning he kept his word, everything he ever said, DID HAPPEN... so I trusted him. I can be very weary when I am ignorant in a certain matter, so Dr Maher took the time to inform me regularly of each step. This is something majorly important, because knowledge is power, and if you know what to expect, you can brace yourself if needed. In all honesty, I feel very blessed that Dr Maher agreed to work on my case. It was a positive experience and I would highly recommend him. Another important aspect of my experience was my dear a lovely dental hygienist Venessa. She was quick, light handed, facilitated Dr Maher's work smoothly and regularly met me with a smile in the lobby. She too had an epic sense of humor. She had a sharp eye too and was consistently alert and helpful. Then... There was Jayjay and Samish who worked on shaping each of my individual crowns masterfully. These guys were mostly quiet, but extremely observant. Between taking pictures of my mouth and making each of my crowns, I got to see they too were positive individuals who took their work so seriously, but enjoyed it too. This is a big deal, if you believe in energy like I do! I feel there was good energy that went into my teeth. Man... All in all... It must have taken Sparkle Dental over 150 Man hours to finish my reconstruction project... Sure my case was not covered by insurance , but the price I paid was priceless compared to the final results. I am so grateful to each member of the clinic and especially to my Dentist Dr. Maher for getting me to this day. Today, is my last of many appointments that spanned over the course of 7 month... I feel like I am graduating!!! So I want to leave this review as a THANK YOU to all involved.
