Negative experience: So we came here for a check up since my friend is in pain. They ask for blood and then urine sample. For almost a week we are waiting for the results of urine that should be sent through email. We are worried so we just walk in again and ask, surprisingly, they said they lost the urine and we need to provide another sample. As a place that is claiming they provide world class healthcare, they should at least update us the next day that they have lost the urine sample. health is very important. A day or an hour late treatment can worsen an illness or worst is that it might cost a person's life. Just a tip for people checking up here. If results don't come on promise date. Just check back on them again especially if it's really important.

Negative experience: The worst service I have ever encountered. I called for like an hour for radiologist appointment and after an hour when finally some one answered my call she connected me to some other line & again as usual they didn't respond

Negative experience: I will not come back to this Hospital. I requested a Medical Certificate, it cost 100 AED and I paid for it. I received it after 2 days then in the Med certificate, it's written there that it cost only 50 AED

Fantastic experience: Visited this hospital on the 6 April for a complete health, with Dr Rohit Rajeevan. The process was very smooth and well organized . The registration was seamless and was ushered in at the allocated appointment time . Dr Rohit is very professional and friendly, and took time to patiently explain all queries . The nurse stations are all well labelled and have ample seating for both male and female . Had a very good experience and would highly recommend Dr Rohit and this hospital.

I took my patient there and she needed some drip the nurse put her on drip and left her unattended for long the drip finished and it started drawing blood from her.she is anemic and we had sought treatment earlier from doctor maria and now she was loosing blood from same hospital . luckily she spotted it and removed the drip herself.never I will step there again or recommend anyone there.simply pathetic

Negative experience: I recently had an experience with Thumbay Day care university that I feel compelled to share regarding their customer service. I was waiting for an important report that I had submitted a request for, and despite multiple calls and follow-ups, I have yet to receive the document. I called the hospital several times, each time being told that I would receive the report "as soon as possible." However, after hours of waiting and multiple calls, there was no resolution or progress. Each time I reached out, I received the same response, with no clear answers or updates on when I could expect the report. This lack of communication and the repeated delays in delivering a simple report have been very frustrating. As a patient, it’s important to feel that your concerns are being taken seriously and handled promptly. Unfortunately, my experience with this aspect of the hospital’s customer service was disappointing, and I hope that they improve their response times and communication in the future.

Negative experience: The worst experience reception to nurse station and doc they are sitting even - when I entered at 8 55 pm the reception told me the doc X has 1 patient I have waited more than 25 minutes for vital nurse has no clue if there is a patient waiting for vital - I approached after 25 minutes again to reception that can you please advise which doc is available and how to see what is my number strange they have no clue she said go and approach nurse station I have done the same and asked them what's the procedure here then they called me by name and taken my vital after my vitals - 20 mins later I have again approach what's going on reception advised me that there is only 1 patient is the doc as GP is taking 45 mins to check 1 patient here wawoooo then they said the doc has more than 3 patient amazing now after 20 mins I am still waiting for my turn my file open at 8:35 pm on 22-01-25 and I am writing this at 9 35 pm and still they don't have any clue

Negative experience: I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the extremely unprofessional service I received during a recent phone call to book an appointment with a GP. I contacted your office to schedule an appointment, but despite my request, the call handler failed to complete the booking. When I inquired about the reason for not proceeding with the appointment, the individual abruptly hung up on me, which is completely unacceptable. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. I would appreciate an explanation of what happened and how you intend to address this issue to prevent it from happening again in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Negative experience: My child had a tonsillitis surgery. Such a simple surgery as doctor explained to me, but the doctor made some mistake. My child had active bleeding and a blood clot. Instead of recovering, he ended up vomiting blood from mouth and bleeding through nose. He had to be transported by ambulance to Thumbay Ajman to get another surgery to stop the bleeding. He had quite a lot of blood loss which has left him still weak and dizzy even though it’s been one month. Other annoying issue I had was the customer call center does not give anesthesia doctor appointments through phone. They would always transfer call to the hospital and the hospital won’t pick up. I had to wait one full day and finally got connected the next day to get an appointment. Another separate occasion, I called the call center to check if they provide umrah vaccine. Again, the call center didn’t know and transferred call to the day care hospital. No surprise there, no one picked up. I called twice. No one picked up. I got my vaccine some where else. Horrible experience. Never going there again

I had headache since morning and I was sure that it is due to high BP or gastric. But the way he immediately diagnosed and told me that it's the frozen mucus in veins which is causing headache. He was extremely soothing and was explaining in detail. I am extremely satisfied.

Negative experience: Very bad experience I used to do the package test of 249.00 every three months in the same hospital in Al Nuaimia branch and Al Jarf branch for many years. I went this branch and made the same package but the result was missing some important results. When I asked they said you have to pay extra 250.00 AED for this test.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Thumbay Hospital Daycare on University City Road, Muweila, Sharjah. I went there for throat pain and sneezing, hoping to see a doctor. Despite there being only one patient ahead of me, I ended up waiting for an hour. When I approached the receptionist to either refund my payment or let me see the doctor, they refused to do either. Even though I arrived before the other patient, I was not allowed to see the doctor, nor was I given a refund. This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Negative experience: Very bad services , very bad management, it was my first and last experience with them. I will not recommend to anybody, they will not give test reports on time even no response over calls as well, such a worst experience , I went there yesterday they said I will get reports before 11:00 pm and still now I am waiting but there is no response from them even they are not picking my calls. they don't know how to treat with patients and how to deal with them, they don't care about them they just have to make money after that don't care you will try again and again to contact with them they will not pick your calls they will not respond you.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this hospital on July 19th. I brought my daughter in for an emergency because she had fallen and had a deep cut on her forehead that was bleeding. The receptionist refused to admit her, saying that my insurance was not accepted there. Despite my insurance team confirming that the hospital was covered and even speaking directly with the hospital staff, they still refused to attend to my 2-year-old daughter. I wasted over an hour at this hospital without any medical attention for her.

Fantastic experience: I live nearby this hospital and visit every time I’m sick and my usual doc is Dr.Jayakumar in internal medicine and he is a really good doc and he explains everything to the patient in a way that the patient understands. The nurses are fine, the nurses before used to be really good at doing blood test but nowadays nurses are fine at doing blood test but they need to focus a bit more cause lately when I got blood tests done, I bleeded more than often after a blood test and the blood had leaked from the bandages and had stained my clothes.

There is no system after waiting 2 hours the GP was more invested in talking to his friends then patients even while on consultation he was more interested in talking about his friends then hearing about my symptoms!!! Negative experience: I gave negative feedback 4 years back, but I'm surprised to see that even till today their service is as bad as it used to be years ago. They simply dont want to improve as they don't care at all. Reception and nursing staff are doing their best to get bad reviews as much as possible. Only thing that is keeping it running is their good doctors.

Negative experience: Had a very bad experience, reception guy in particular one Mr. Osama, he is pathetic and doesn’t even give a proper response and is very rude too. Nursing staffs and other staffs are good, though they couldn’t do anything

Negative experience: I had been to thumbay day care on 7th march 2024, after consulting the doctor who advised to do some blood tests.. after waiting more than an hour they took my blood samples.. since 9th march i am following up for my reports.. no one gives me any answer.. they keep transferring my call from one desk to another.. no one answers and when i call back it goes into the loop again.. till now I didn’t receive the reports.. this is very unprofessional and unfair! I am waiting for my reports which is already paid and approved by my insurance! You need to improve you service delivery and also all the calls go to backend team who is in a call centre and they have no idea what is going on! Every time u call a different person answers and u need to tell the story to them.. only answer they have his.. plz give ur number and they ll call back which never happened till date!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sridar babu one of the best doctor. I am in Uae total 12 years finished but I didn't find like this best doctor now I going only thumbay hospital muwaileh and meet Dr. Sridar babu.. I already share my experience with my friends and relatives they also said next time they will come to thumbay hospital and consult with Dr. Sridar babu.

Positive experience: Dr. Manar is very good and kind. She deals with kids so nicely. But hospital lacks many things staffs ,hygene and expensive also. Rating only for doctor not for hospital

Negative experience: One of the worse doctor! All the staff are just in a rush to get rid of patients. Staff getting annoyed when kids cry… my son came in with an infected tongue and high fever. Dr said it was not an infection but my son had bit his tongue in his sleep or fell and bit his tongue hence the infected wounds in his mouth. Wow! The Dr prescribed an adult medication for my 3 year old child and not want to take credibility for their actions. They do not even deserve 1 star. Crappy really!
