Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being treated by Dra. Dina and Dr. Sarmad, and I must say their professionalism, precision, and care are truly exceptional. From the moment I walked into the clinic, the entire team made me feel welcomed and at ease. The quality of service, attention to detail, and clear communication throughout the process were top-notch. It’s rare to find a dental team that combines expertise with such warmth and genuine concern for patient comfort.

Negative experience: Came for a regular cleaning. The doctor was in a rush to finish her day and didn’t do a good job. The documents provided for insurance reimbursement didn’t satisfy the insurance provider to get the full amount refund as per the policies because they simply overcharged for the procedure. The branch coordinators don’t reply to WhatsApp in a timely manner. That was the last time I visited this branch.

Fantastic experience: The Most Peaceful Hour... During a Root Canal Treatment!!! As a clinician myself since 2008, I’ve always been on the other side of the chair—providing care, not receiving it. Today, for the first time, I found myself in the patient’s seat needing a root canal, and what I experienced with Dr. Marjan was nothing short of clinical brilliance. From the moment the local anesthesia was administered to the precise placement of the rubber dam, and throughout the intricate treatment that lasted over an hour, Dr. Marjan demonstrated extraordinary skill, care, and composure. What truly amazed me was that she completed a complex molar root canal in a single sitting, standing the entire time with unwavering focus. But this isn’t just a professional review—it’s a heartfelt shout-out to anyone out there who's anxious or downright terrified about getting a root canal. I know the fear. I’ve seen it in patients. But today, I felt it myself… until Dr. Marjan completely dissolved it. That one hour in the chair was, paradoxically, the most peaceful and blissful hour I’ve had in a long time. No sedation, just local anesthesia and the calm, gentle energy of a clinician who truly cares. I even found myself dozing off—yes, during a root canal! Dr. Marjan, you are a rare gem in the world of dentistry. Thank you for your kindness, your excellence, and your dedication. Hats off. I genuinely can’t thank you enough❣️ Modifying my review for an additional information: My Local anaesthesia is now weaned off. Guess what? No pain at all! Negative experience: The staff is constantly changing. They are always trying to upsell/push products or unnecessary scans. A relatives did 2 root canals that were poorly done causing massive infections, migraines and other long term health issues. Beware.

Negative experience: Butchered my root canal. Back in 2021/22 in Bur Juman branch they did a root canal using 15 year old methodology that screwed all the way in beyond what was necessary. This caused infection and problems with my sinus which was there to see on multiple x-rays but no one did anything to own up to it until 3 years later when it became major source of pain on multiple levels. Anyway, never going to them again. No amount of money can compensate for the health issues caused by the compromised sinus but for sake of public good I hope they can put a stop to such amateur operations.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr Sarmad initially for emergency dental treatment when my tooth broke - he was honestly amazing. He assessed what was going on with my tooth thoroughly and talked me through all the options. I’m super nervous about the dentist so he was very gentle and calming and talked me through the process of the treatment i needed - a change of amalgam fillings and 2 crowns. He Changed the 2 fillings and fitted temporary crowns in the initial appointment and then I went back a week later to have the permanent crowns fitted. Dr Sarmad took so much time and care to ensure the crowns were perfect, even sending them back to the lab to get the colour slightly changed when he wasn’t happy with the results and his expectations which was incredible. The final results are amazing and I am so happy. They feel great and aesthetically look so good! I also sought the advice of Dr Sarmad regarding changing the rest of my amalgam fillings, which he also did and again I am super happy with the results. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Sarmad if you are nervous about getting dental work done and you are looking for a professional service with excellent results. Also, the reception staff a really warm and welcoming and the clinic is very clean! I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I had my appointment with Dr. Sarmad Abuqlam. From the first moment, I felt very comfortable with him. I had a discolored tooth, and he took plenty of time to choose the best option. We did a same-day crown for the front tooth. There was an injection that I didnt felt, and he worked very efficiently and competently. 3 hours later, my crown was ready—it looks extremely good, no pain, nothing! I can 100% recommend Dr. Sarmad, not only professionally but also as a human. In Switzerland, a same-day crown wouldn’t have been possible, and it would have cost 3x as much. Thank you for EVERYTHING!

Fantastic experience: The best experience I had with the prosthodontist Dr Ahmed who helped me to close the gaps between my teeth with non prep feldspathic porcelain Veneers, which didn’t require the shaving of my original teeth, the result is so natural that i was really impressed and I would definitely recommend those Veneers for those who wants to keep their original teeth without shaving and create beautiful aesthetic look of their smile. Another brilliant experience I had with the oral surgeon Dr Gagan, who helped me to close my ear loop, which became so big, that I couldn’t wear earrings anymore, Dr Gagan was recommended to me to do this due to his huge surgical experience and he could do also non-dental work, I didn’t regret and had literally pain free procedure and soon will remove the stitches, I am very happy, I have found the solution for both issues in the same place Dr Joy Dental Clinic Al Wasl Road, Villa 1021 and would recommend this place for all my friends!!!

Negative experience: I'm giving them a 2 star because they never have availability. What's the point in having them as my dentist. Every time I ring, I have to wait 3 weeks for Dr Tomas to be available. Waste of time. This is the 3rd time I've had this, now changing dentists for good.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I had one of the worst experiences at this clinic, and I strongly advise against wasting your time here. I initially booked an appointment and provided my insurance details in advance. The clinic confirmed that my insurance was accepted, and everything was in order. However, upon arriving, I was abruptly informed that my insurance was not valid at this location and that I had to go to their BurJuman branch instead. Despite being in severe pain, I immediately rushed to the other clinic, spending an hour in transit, only to be met with yet another shock—upon arrival, I was told that no treatment would be provided that day. The doctor would only assess me but had no time to actually treat my condition. This was completely unacceptable. Had they informed me beforehand, I would not have endured unnecessary pain and wasted my time traveling across the city. Their excuse? “We just found out you were coming.” This level of mismanagement, lack of communication, and utter disregard for a patient in pain is beyond unprofessional. There was absolutely no care or urgency from their side. A clinic that cannot provide basic coordination and patient care should not be operating in the first place.

Fantastic experience: Honestly petrified of going to the dentist and so the thought of drilling into my bone to insert a plug to screw a tooth into made me feel sick. I booked with Dr. Sabharwal and turned up nervous. He was calming, explained everything, was professional and did the job in such a short space of time. It was almost painless and the recovery has been speedy. Convinced I shouldn’t be afraid I then booked for my first professional cleaning in almost 8 years with Felicia. Once again despite having to remove 8 years worth of “stuff” she was awesome. No more fear of dentists I think. Good job Joy Dental.

Negative experience: This clinic all about making money! If you have to do a procedure, you don’t need consultation- but they charge you! Clinic makes lots of money only on consultation ! I do hope more business like that go out, and more care from doctors will happen, not just care for money!

As usual, I arrived at the appointment with a tension headache and really feeling unsure about actually following through with the cleaning. She immediately set me at ease and made me as comfortable as possible. She set about her task in the kindest and most approachable manner that I have ever experienced in this environment, and I was for the first time ever, almost able to relax while she was busy.
