Negative experience: We have experienced repeated and unacceptable issues with appointment approvals at Mushrif Children’s Hospital. On August 10 and 12, my son was booked for speech therapy and we were told the sessions were approved. When we arrived, we were informed there was no approval from Aounak Insurance. This is not the first time—during a previous psychology appointment, we received a call only 10 minutes before the scheduled time saying there was no approval from SEHA. My son has Autism Spectrum Disorder and needs stability in his care. These last-minute cancellations cause him unnecessary stress and make it very hard for me as a nurse who has to adjust my work schedule to be there for him. This level of miscommunication and poor coordination between the hospital, booking system, and insurance is unacceptable and needs urgent improvement.

Negative experience: I drove 2 hours from Al Dhafra to Al Mushrif Children's Specialty Center hoping for proper support for my 3-year-old son’s speech delay. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The nurses lacked child-friendly care, and the doctor seemed distracted—she even left mid-consultation for a tea break. We were sent for tests with no clear explanation, and the hearing test was done unprofessionally and had to be repeated. After paying AED 900 for a follow-up with a specialist, we got the exact same consultation as before—no new insight, no real assessment. The entire visit felt rushed, impersonal, and emotionally draining. A place calling itself a “specialty center” should do better—our children deserve more care and compassion.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your pharmacy on the night of 20/05/2025. During my visit, the male pharmacist on duty displayed a high level of negligence. Despite many patients waiting, he was roaming around and did not attend to customers in a timely manner. I had come to collect prescribed medication for my child, who was suffering from fever and an ear infection. I repeatedly asked about the complete set of prescribed medicines, but the pharmacist insisted that all medicines were provided. However, upon requesting the prescription back (which he was initially reluctant to return and made me wait over 20 minutes for a printed copy), I discovered that several key medications were missing. When I questioned this, the pharmacist casually informed me that those medicines were not available — something he failed to communicate earlier. As a result, I spent over 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting unnecessarily while my child was in pain and discomfort. This level of service is unacceptable, especially in situations involving sick children. Clear communication and prompt service are critical in a healthcare setting, and this experience fell far short of that standard. I request that appropriate action be taken to address this issue, and that steps be implemented to prevent such incidents

Negative experience: What a Rip Off !! I visited this centre for the first time with my 4 years old kid. Registration was fast, smooth and nice till we reached the doctor (Dr.Asma Mohammed - Pediatric ENT). Dr.Asma lacks the basic communication skills for a pediatrician !!. Very depressed, careless, Zero communication with the chile even to convince him to open his mouth!!. I had to do it all. Then, she told me that I need a General pediatrician to hear his chest."They are better than me in this !!". For me, this was a pure lie to my face being a doctor myself!!. Anyway, went outside, No nurse, I had to find my way to the other doctor (Dr.Suha al tokhi), she totally though I'm here for the free check for ear, eye and blood!!. I asked her to hear his chest and she did to tell me nothing is wrong. However, knowing that this is not right, asked her to hear it again, then she said...yea let me write a medication for him for 5 days!!. She called the other doctor to wrote because she can't write medication on a wellness visit. Conclusion, Center wanted me to pay twice for 2 doctors, that I don't trust any of them, no free check up, couldn't even get the medicine from pharmacy bcz their system doesn't have my insurance!! Which i don't know how as the registration was done smoothly. Caught Ammar, clinic supervisor or senior. Told him my frustration, he tried but couldn't fix the doctors play as they tried to convince him that they did the right thing.he was frustrated as well but couldn't help!! My Massage to everyone, Don't go there, it is just a rip off, zero care, totally mismanaged. Leaders and decision makers, look into this nice place, save it before it turns into a disaster!!. WORST SEHA EXPERIENCE!! #PUREHEALTH #SEHA

Negative experience: Just for an assessment for the baby took 45 mins. And again you have to fall inline to just to get your baby a vaccine this system is too annoying

Negative experience: Front reception staffs are taking too much time..I have waited more than 1 hour just to register for lab and when I went to radiology they told that it is not registered for the radiology and took more time to get it done….No idea why they are taking too much time

Negative experience: The benchmark for waiting time when you already have an appointment is 5 minutes. Can’t believe i had to wait more than 15 minutes just to register my son although the place is fully empty. 2 ladies staff at the counter (counter 4&8) on 23/3/2025 at 2:15 pm. They seems not taking the ticket on purpose as the registration takes less than a minutes since my child have a file and not the first time visiting. Management need to look at the employee’s performance

Negative experience: I took my baby for their vaccine today, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the counter staff and nurses, who were rushed and unhelpful, and even the doctor didn't show up to check on the baby or answer our questions, which was not the kind of service I expect, and I won't be returning.

Negative experience: The staff before used to be very friendly and caring as this is children's center. Anyway i will not come back here we have good insurance anyway. Staffs doesn't seem to like what they are doing which affecting their mood at work.

Negative experience: Very bad nurses who takes vaccines. They talk very bad thing in their local language. They make fun of Seha aswell as the next children who are in the que. Never expected this behaviour from the staff nurses in Seha especially in UAE. Doctors were very polite and supportive and helpful.

Negative experience: I recently visited here and was extremely disappointed with the reception and registration counter staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, which made the entire experience frustrating. From the start, the staff displayed an unwelcoming attitude towards patients, showing little regard for basic courtesy. Instead of assisting visitors properly, they were dismissive and even rude in their responses. One of the most frustrating aspects was their inconsistent approach to appointments. Initially, I was told to come in as a walk-in patient, but upon arrival, they suddenly required an appointment. To make matters worse, when they finally booked an appointment, it was at an inconvenient time, they never confirmed the time prior booking. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespectful behavior from the reception staff made for a terrible experience. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure better patient service in the future.

Negative experience: Poor management of costumer service( no idea what they are telling to the parents upon calling) ❌they dont know about age of vaccination schedule I told them i want to book appointment for vaccination of grade 1 (age 5-6), i told them my kid is 5yrs old and its said “”’okay’” they booked appointments-when i arrived the clinic They said it needs 6yrs old for the vaccine. We waisted our time and money just for nothing. ❌ i called to booked appointment for vaccination and they told me no need booking- walkin its okay, even i insist that i want appointment . ‘WALK IN ITS FINE he said’’ when i arrived the clinic they dont accept my kid and they ask me by receptionist to ask personally to the staff if they will accept . I asked the nurse , she said she have a lot of patients and shes alone, and need appointment . After all drama, she accepted my kid after all. Thank to her. Imagine everyone has plans and time for everything But because of this wrong INFORMATION FROM COSTUMER SERVICE everything is a messed. Staffs told me it always happened for the patients/parents visiting with them and sending out coz of wrong INFORMATION. They need a properly training to there costumer service staff .

Negative experience: Very poor management, every time I have come to this clinic I had to wait long time even with an appointment.

Positive experience: The waiting times are atrocious even after having appointments all the time had to wait for a long even in pharmacy has to wait with little one, Overall experience with service was good whether be it the doctors, care givers or the facilities provided.

Registeration was smooth and quick with Mr.Sultan , and we had the best service provided by Dr. Fawzi who was so accommodative and he assisted us to register my parents under his name. We were lucky to have Ms. Basima as the nurse who gave my parents the vaccine she has a quick and painless touch congratulations on having such a wonderful team in Al Mushrif clinicGod bless you

Fantastic experience: I went to registeration of my new born baby, the whole process was very good and smooth, staff was well behaved , had a good interaction with doctor.

Negative experience: Waited for an hour and when asked, they just told that the system is down and they cannot contact the insurance provider. They could’ve checked it sooner. It’s not even a crowded clinic! They need to improve their service. The waiting area is nice and comfortable though.

Negative experience: Too irresponsible! I can’t believe this! They let us waited for an hour knowing that our baby is with us! This is crazy!!! Even after I talked to them about the situation they still want us to wait an hour/s again! The lady receptionist in the desk Sultan Al Ketbi (Desk 7), she’s the one who accepted us for walk-in and she didn’t inform anyone regarding our booking. Then when I was talking to her about that she always answering me I DON’T KNOW. This is not the proper way how you talk to the patients! Please do something. This is not just a normal check up, this is for our Baby’s vaccine. BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!!!!!! Grow up guys!

Negative experience: أبدا مافيه التزام بوقت المواعيد !! عطوني موعد الساعه 2 و صار لي انتظر أكثر من ساعة و ما خليت حد ما كلمته !! و هذا و أنا عندي موعد. قبل وصلت متأخره و قالوا خذي موعد ثاني ليش متأخره، ليش ما تشوفون تأخيركم !

Despite arriving 30 minutes early for my 6:30 am appointment, the staff accommodated me with grace. From the security personnel to the receptionist, pharmacist, nurses, and the doctor with a warm smile, everyone went above and beyond to provide top-notch care. The operation was seamlessly handled, and the team's courtesy and attentiveness stood out. I visited for my child's vaccination, and the receptionist even suggested the influenza vaccine, reflecting their genuine concern for people's well-being. I am immensely grateful to the government for maintaining such a wonderful organization. Kudos to the entire team amazing service amazing service – may you all be blessed for your dedication and excellence!

Positive experience: Take your appointment before you go

Negative experience: I came here approximately 5 times and arrive 15 mins before my kids appointment and each time there is a wait time of 1 hour +. And one time i was late for my kids appointment for 17 mins, they told me that the Dr has another patient and wasnt allowed to see the Dr. So basically its fine for them to make you wait hours but if your late then the Dr cant see you. Extremely annoyed

Negative experience: Their appointment and health insurance don’t match. They will send SMS for appointment but this doesn't guarantee your booking. Appointment is booked but no approval for insurance. Hence, need to wait again for a minimum of 1 hour to reset everything of their side.

Fantastic experience: في البداية أود أن أتقدم بالشكرالجزيل لدولتي الغالية لتوفيرها أرقى خدمات الرعاية الصحية على مستوى العالم و توفير أفضل الخبراء وأخص بالشكر الدكتورعماد الدين علي عبدالرحمن الربابعه - مركز المشرف التخصصي للأطفال - عيادة النطق ، الذي كان له دور جبار من بعد رب العالمين في استعادة ابني النطق كباقي الأطفال بفضل دقة التشخيص و وضوح الخطة العلاجية و بفضل الدعم و النصائح و تقديم التوعية و أنصح و بقوه كافة حالات تأخر النطق بالتوجه إليه لأنه من خيرة الأطباء المتمكنين في مجالة .

Negative experience: One of the worse place to be for the child vaccination. Despite appointments, coming on or before time, you still need to wait as they don't follow any process. Whoever comes and knows someone from inside, goes in from the back door even. And don't waste your time going there for 9 and 15 months check-ups as they don't check anything at all. Just waste of time waiting. Since there is no other place for vaccination, we had to go there but this time made a complain before I left directly to the In-charge as well as to DOH. Hopefully something will improve.

Negative experience: February 5th 2023 - It’s 8:50 on a Sunday, take a token number and wait (no queue nothing one person was waiting and two ladies at counter) it’s 9:12 I got to register and my Appoitment is 9:00 but yes we have to wait for registration. A Sunday a Sunday a Sunday. Function please. Timings timings fix your timings.
