Fantastic experience: I suffered from severe unbearable pain of my teeth. I have ben recommended Harley Street Dental Center by our hotel, which made an appointment for me on the same day with Dr Mohamad Baghdadi. Dr Baghdadi literally saved me, he did root canal treatment for me, relieved the pain during the first session and completed the treatment 2 days after. Wonderful specialist, very fast, precise and gentle. I am 10 weeks pregnant and he managed to recognise the problem without doing an Xray. The best doctor who ever treated me. I am very grateful!

Positive experience: Good place where you can find almost all specialities but in certain areas will be beneficial to get more doctors, waiting time can be long.

Negative experience: Met with Dr Carine for an implant issue. Very arrogant and zero interest in helping me out... will never go back. Only plus was availability of appointments on short notice, but most clinics have that as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr Carine Tabarani is a hugely talented oral surgeon. She’s fast, efficient, and does excellent work at a fair price. Dr Carine performed a difficult tooth extraction in minutes, painlessly and without discomfort. She followed this up with an implant and denture while we wait for a crown to be fitted in a few month’s time. The implant was also painless and performed flawlessly in minutes. She followed up twice with me to check everything was ok and nothing was too much trouble. Dr Carine is a warm, genuine, caring professional and I heartily recommend her and Harley St Dental’s services to anyone needing either routine or complex dental care.

Negative experience: FYI: HSDC pharmacy does not deliver their meds to Jubail Island while they do to Saadiyat. Given many people are moving to Jubail, HSDC may reconsider the current practice.

They made me believe that my condition was very serious and that I was only seeking advice to replace the veneers (noting that I visited 4 of the best and finest quality centers/doctor in the Emirates) and they all agreed that the diagnosis in this center was very, very, very exaggerated and illogical. My experience with her for three procedures last Saturday and today, a remarkably swift gingivectomy (under five minutes), an equally efficient tooth extraction (less than two minutes), and a rapid frenectomy (under one minute, excluding the brief anesthesia application), was truly exceptional. Dr. Carine possesses an extraordinary touch, her gentle hand and humble demeanor made the entire process surprisingly comfortable. In my experience, she stands out as the finest dentist I've encountered in Abu Dhabi, Masha'Allah. The efficiency of the procedures was such that my travel time from near Mafraq was significantly longer than the treatments themselves, a testament to her skill. Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Mohamed Baghdadi at Harley Street Dental Clinic. I initially visited on March 24th for a consultation to improve my smile after seeing good reviews about him. However, from the start, I felt pressured into extreme and unnecessary procedures, and the lack of price transparency made the experience even worse. Despite having healthy teeth with no major issues, Dr. Baghdadi immediately recommended crowns for my front teeth, which seemed excessive. A quick search online showed that crowns are typically used for severely damaged teeth, which mine were not. When I declined, he suggested veneers, which I also refused. Instead, I asked for simple fillings to fix a small crack and clean up my smile without extreme procedures. During this first session, he also recommended laser gum contouring without disclosing any price. When I went to reception afterward, I was shocked to learn that a 15-minute procedure had cost me 1,000 AED. At no point was this price mentioned beforehand. On March 28th (two days before Eid), I went in for the fillings, still trusting his expertise. However, throughout the entire two-hour procedure, he never showed me a mirror, discussed color matching, or gave me any input on what he was doing. When he finally handed me a mirror, I was shocked and devastated—I was left with uneven, oversized, unnaturally white fillings that completely changed my face. - My front teeth were different sizes—one was big, the other was chopped. - Because my teeth are slightly forward, they were pushing against my lower lip, making it uncomfortable to even close my mouth. - The color was unnaturally white and did not match my natural teeth. When I expressed my shock, Dr. Baghdadi completely dismissed my concerns, telling me the discomfort was just due to anesthesia and that I would “get used to it.” After leaving the clinic, I felt horrible, but it wasn’t until I got home and really looked at my teeth that the reality sank in. I broke down in tears, feeling like my smile had been completely ruined. I immediately called the clinic asking for an emergency appointment. They told me they were fully booked but could “squeeze me in” at 8:30 PM—knowing that Eid was the next day. The next morning, still in distress, I called again and finally managed to speak with Dr. Baghdadi. Before I could even explain my concerns, he asked me, “So now do you want the veneers?”—as if my only choice was to commit to another drastic procedure. When I told him I was unhappy and just wanted the fillings removed, he refused, saying it wasn’t possible and claiming that I was “the type of person who wouldn’t like anything anyway.” Instead of offering solutions or showing any empathy, he: - Asked about my age and where my parents were (completely irrelevant). - Told me there was nothing he could not remove the fillings. - Hung up on me before I could even finish speaking. To make matters worse, the clinic charged me without telling me the cost of the fillings either and even took 600 AED from my insurance without informing me.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been anxious about dental procedures, especially implants, but my experience with Dr. Ahmed Osman was completely different. From the first consultation, he explained everything clearly, which eased my fears. The implant process was far smoother than I expected ,almost painless and incredibly efficient. Dr. Ahmed’s precision and gentle approach made me feel completely at ease. Also Joyce was so warm and reassuring, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I am so grateful I chose him and chose Harley Street Dental Center. If you’re nervous about dental work, I highly recommend Dr.Ahmed for his skill, professionalism, and compassionate care!

Fantastic experience: HSMC is a fantastic facility with the most amazing staff, professional service, state of the art facilities and friendly atmosphere

Negative experience: 5 star for the clinic amazing staff, but 1 star for the doctor. I went to doctor Ruba for a toothache that I had for 2 months and she said, her words " everything looks fine, I will not do anything to it, wait another 2 weeks and come back but I can't promise you that I can help you" I was disappointed and also she found a small cavity in another tooth and told her I want my annual dental cleaning. After the cleaning I asked her if she took the cavity out, she said "no, do you want me to take it out?" I was shocked and started questioning her and got scared that she might mess up my tooth so I said no, I will go to another dentist.

Negative experience: I took my 15-year-old daughter to a pediatric dentist with good reviews, expecting a professional experience. Upon arrival, the dentist explained that she typically only sees patients up to age 14. While she did proceed with the examination and took an X-ray, her demeanor was noticeably irritated. She handled my daughter roughly during the exam, and at one point, she banged on her teeth with her instruments and she was speaking in load tone, causing unnecessary pain. It felt as though she was expressing her frustration about the situation rather than focusing on providing proper care. Note my daughter turned 15 two months ago. The receptionist (Pilipino guy forgot his name), on the other hand, was very professional and kind. He even offered to schedule us with another dentist. However, after experiencing the dentist’s irritability, I had already lost trust in the clinic and decided to book an appointment elsewhere.

Negative experience: NEVER GO TO HARLEY!!! The lady Sumaya was OK but generally Poor services from HSMC, not value for money. Absolute rip off. Initial charge of 5800 and after intensive arguments I finally Paid 2800 AED after 1 hour of negotiations. Worst medical check up experience compared to any other medical center. Same checkup would cost 70% less somewhere else.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my concerns regarding today’s consultation with Dr Naji. During our visit, I noticed that the Doctor appeared irritable when we raised inquiries about the progress of our child’s procedure and the cleaning services that is needed.. Unfortunately, the response felt more reactive than proactive, especially given that our main concern—correcting the protrusion of our child’s lower teeth—remains a concern nearly a year after our initial consultation in January 2024. Furthermore, when I mentioned the buildup of cavities on my child’s teeth, he responded in a loud and irritated manner, stating that cleaning was not part of the procedure and that we should take our child elsewhere for that. This was surprising, as I had brought up the concern in a polite and soft-spoken manner, hoping to discuss the overall dental health of my child. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, as parents, we also have the right to ask questions and seek clarity about our child’s treatment. It is disheartening to feel that our concerns are met with frustration rather than constructive dialogue. If raising these concerns will impact the quality of care or the course of my child’s treatment, I would appreciate your transparency so that I can consider alternative options. My ultimate priority is ensuring my child receives the best care possible in an environment that fosters open communication and mutual respect. Thank you for understanding, and I look forward to your response.

I was unexpectedly asked to pay without prior notice, and when I tried to clarify the situation, the front desk staff member kept interrupting me and was not listening. This lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. I felt compelled to raise a complaint and share my experience.
