Negative experience: Not impressed with Dr. Sparsh Pasi despite some good reviews below. 1) she didn’t even ask us what our issues were, just started rambling advices at a very high pace. Imagine a talking chatgpt. 2) she didn’t ask our permission before doing a procedure on our newborn. She started cleaning her belly botton with saline without even us asking for it, or even explaining what she was doing or what are the benefits. 3) Started giving advice to mother on food habits without even us asking for it. Made insensitive cultural remarks on our heritage (which is same as hers, so it’s not even clear what makes her mock her own heritage). 4) when the baby woke up due to her saline procedure on belly botton and was wet in her super cold room, we asked for a 10 mins recess to quickly feed and change her. Not an unreasonable request from parents of 10 day old. She forced us to finish the conversation and didn’t allow any recess. The baby was cold and hungry all this while. Moreover she made insensitive remarks that let baby cry for few more mins. She can have food later. Overall she came across as someone who thinks patients are stupid and dumb. Not sure how people find her helpful. Maybe paid reviews. Better to avoid her or be very clear that she is a service provider and needs to take you onboard properly

Fantastic experience: Our whole family is with Mediclinic Al Sufouh. It is a very cosy, very comfortable clinic with good and fast services and very helpful staff, both doctors and admin are very professional. Kareem from the reception is a gem.

As the first person you connect with at the reception to have someone like him makes me feel comfortable and truely appreciate how he goes above and beyond to assist and advice me.a very valuable member of the team and makes my Docter’s visits pleasurable experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Sparsh for years, she is just lovely with my kids and super knowledgeable. Her nurse Sheela is really helpful. I also recommened Dr Amer and Dr Farah, both great doctors who go the extra mile for their patients. Karim at the front desk is always smiling and helpful, great customer service.

Negative experience: The pharmacy service is terrible, first you received a prescription which can’t be claimed on the insurance with other pharmacy , if you stay in the pharmacy takes lots of time to process and to get your medicine and if you opted for home delivery it will take the whole day when there is a person in need for those medicines, completely unacceptable !

Negative experience: I had an extremely frustrating experience with Dr. Fatima Ibragimova at Mediclinic Al Sufouh when I took my daughter to have her eyebrow stitches removed on the 8th day, as advised. We had an appointment, and the clinic had confirmed everything the previous day. I even left work early to take my daughter there, expecting a straightforward procedure. From the start, Dr. Fatima seemed unwilling to proceed. First, she told us that the doctor who originally placed the stitches was on leave and suggested we check when he would return. Then, she claimed that stitches on the face can be removed after 10 days, which contradicted previous medical advice. She even asked the nurse to look for a general surgeon, further delaying the process. Eventually, it became obvious that she simply did not want to do it, and we had no choice but to leave. Thankfully, we went to Mediclinic Ibn Battuta, where we had a wonderful experience with Dr. Veda Riza. She removed the stitches quickly and without any pain for my daughter, showing both skill and compassion—exactly what we had expected in the first place. This entire ordeal was unnecessary and avoidable. If Dr. Fatima was unwilling or unable to do the procedure, why did the clinic confirm the appointment? I wasted time, left work early, and put my daughter through unnecessary stress. I would not recommend Dr. Fatima Ibragimova based on this experience, but I highly recommend Dr. Veda Riza at Mediclinic Ibn Battuta for her professionalism and excellent patient care.

Negative experience: Went for health check up at Mediclinic Al Saufah Happened to see few doctors. I want to leave review on Sayed Babak Jamalian , family physician. Worst experience I had. He didn’t bother walk me through the test result after all the comprehensive testing I have gone through. One of enzymes was high and he started putting me through another of altrasound which was already taken. His assumed I eat carbohydrates being an Indian without asking me what’s my diet like explanation was like your diet bad you eat lot of carbohydrates without give me a chance to explain.. there is fatty liver etc I had to ask him how is my sugar and lipid profile etc but he brushed off .. ah all that normal . he was recommending to gastroenterologist and psychiatrist etc for hair loss and lack of sleep .. Felt like he was after more tests and putting me through appointments than actually doing his job what is already paid. Bat attitude, no details and very careless in approaching patients After health check up , I left with bitter experience and completely demotivated in-spite of being physically fit and normal my age.

Negative experience: I went to Dr. Mehnaz Mumtaz for consultation. She asked me to do full blood test and told me she will contact me herself when the results become ready. Unfortunately she totally forgot to contact me. Therefore, I called her & followed up myself. O She told me my LDL & Triglycerides are high although I thought they’re in normal range. I went to an endocrinologist to seek a second opinion. He was shocked & told me you don’t need to be worried as everything is normal. Her interpretation was wrong unfortunately. Based on my experience I don’t recommend Dr. Mehnaz Mumtaz and I will never go back to her despite loving Mediclinic Al Sofouh’s friendly environment .

Fantastic experience: Came to see Dr Amer Iqbal, listened to me, did my blood tests and sent me the blood tests with a detailed email explaining the results and what should be the next course of action, an exemplary physician, loved seeing him in the clinic.

Negative experience: Positives: Doctor Mehnaz Mumtaz was very good. Explained what she was thinking in terms of course of action. She did a sequence of tests and told she will call back next day morning when she has blood test reports. She called about 10:15 am next morning and discussed what she found and said her nurse will send the prescription in few mins over email. Negatives: 2 hours passed with no prescription. The default contact number (04) 247 8111 is not of the Al Sufouh clinic but a general number. Which means they will put you on hold while they reach out to Al Sufouh clinic to get an answer, more on this later. On complaining, I received the prescription in email. Turns out this prescription has incorrect insurance provider details, hence I couldn't purchase the medicines. Called the helpline (04) 247 8111 again. This time I was told that noone is picking phone at Al Sufouh so I should wait and someone will call back. Another few hours passed with no call back. Called helpline again. This time they managed to make me speak directly with the nurse at Al sufouh. She told revised prescription with corrected insurance provider details is already sent by their inhouse pharmacy. I told I have not received it. She put me on hold and immidiately I received revised prescription. Her pharmacist actually forgot to send the email it seems. This prescription was expired. The phamacist sent the screenshot of the same. I replied to the latest email I had received with the screenshot sent to me by pharmacy. A revised prescription was sent with new erx number but this was also showing as expired with the pharmacy. I replied to email again. Now I was getting faster reponses (it was 4:30pm by this time). This time email said that she has asked Dr Mehnaz to reissue the prescription. This prescription also failed because eclaim requires only 1 principal diagnosis. In the process of resending same principal diagnosis was listed twice. I reached out to Al Sufouh again over email giving them proof of failing insurance claim because of the error. I wonder if this the first time this clinic is issuing prescription. I am still waiting for a prescription that finally can get me the medicines. I am sure eventually I will get it, hopefully soon. Total cost for the blood tests, covid test, and consultation was AED 1850.

Fantastic experience: Mr K Hussain at reception Mediclinic Al Sufouh is very warm and welcoming. I’ve noticed he’s always like this and this service with a smile starts with his genuine warm friendly greeting! Today there was a lady behind me carrying an infant and as he tended to me he immediately offered the lady a seat at the next reception desk. Amd acknowledged how tiring it must be to carry the child. Instead of moving her to the seat opposite him he moved to take her case next once done with me.

Fantastic experience: We visited this mediclinic branch because their doctor that we see since we arrive Dubai started here. The hospital was moderate but the staff starting from the entrance bench is fantastic. They tried to think about all the solutions for the problem that we had which was quite extraordinary. We especially want to thank Dr. Amr El Zawahry and his team for their fabulous work. We strongly recommend anyone to visit Dr Amr if you need a pediatrician. Today, Karim at reception was particularly helpful, introducing me to a new app for booking appointments and accessing my medical history. It's a great step forward for patient convenience and progressiveness.

Negative experience: Mixed experience, skilled doctors and extreme unprofessional staff. The physicians at the clinic are skilled professionals who demonstrate expertise in their fields, but the same cannot be said for the administrative, customer service, nurses, reception and support staff. Lack of organization, expertise, and trust left me questioning both its organizational competence and the level of trustworthiness and I found myself questioning the accuracy and completeness of the information provided during consultations. Time to find another healthcare provider.

Negative experience: Useless application especially to book an appointment. Either it gives an error that the birth date is wrong in “their” records which is right in application or emirates id or it is going to give an error saying mobile number wrong on “their” records. Your record is the least considerate thing so end of the day your app is as useless as it can be occupying some space in the mobile.
