Italian Dental Clinic

Negative experience: Avoid this clinic — extremely poor service and follow-up. I started my Invisalign treatment at this clinic in June 2024 with the initial scan and treatment plan. I received my first set of 14 aligners in September 2024. By January 2025, I was already on the last tray and continued attending check-ups for nearly six months — but the clinic did not have a scanner available to do a follow-up scan. It wasn’t until May 2025 that I was finally rescanned — after using the last tray for over five months, which is not hygienic or recommended. I only continued because I didn’t want to lose the money I had already invested. Almost three months later, in July 2025, I finally received my next set of aligners. The timelines this clinic operates with are completely unreasonable. When you pay for a treatment like Invisalign, you expect proper follow-up and timely action — something this clinic consistently failed to provide. Appointments for simple check-ups are given over a month later, which clearly shows how little they care about your ongoing treatment. Do not go to this clinic. Save your money and your time.

Fantastic experience: I Recently had an amazing pain free root canal treatment, a special thanks to Dr. Lalli and her assistant Ms.Jeeli for doing a fantastic job, I have had numerous root canal treatment but this one by far was the easiest and painfree. Dr Lalli took that extra mile to personally check on my well being and whether I was experiencing any discomfort. She sets a very positive vibe and mood in her clinic which I feel is very important I would highly recommend her for any dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had an appointment for a routine check-up, I ran into some issues with my insurance, but the staff was doing their best to sort everything out. While they were handling the situation, two gentlemen walked over to me and introduced themselves. I believe one of them was the general manager, and the other might have been the senior manager or even the owner sorry if I can’t remember exactly The first thing they said was, Don’t worry, you’re here because you’re not feeling well and we really don’t want you to worry about anything. No matter what the insurance says, please let us take care of you. Our priority is you.And they meant it. Just those words made me feel so much better I just want to say, Sir, this world needs more people like you. And to the gentleman next to you, I believe your son thank you as well A huge thanks to all of your staff. They truly made me feel like I was walking into an amusement park, not a clinic. I felt so comfortable and at ease I can’t thank you enough. You’ve really made a difference in the world with your positivity and passion, and I’m sure anyone who has the chance to know you feels the same way

Negative experience: Overall clinic is excellent. Dr Mai and staff are very nice and professional. Just avoid going for surgeon Dr. Yassin Alsubaie. Horrible experience of tooth removal. Dr. Nemanja was much better

Fantastic experience: I visited Italian dental twice now As it’s closest to my work. I found the new management and the team of dentists amazing. The place has change so much. The care and courtesy I was given was second to none. I from the reception to treatment (emergency root canal) and follow up was exceptional. I also got a discount on my treatment plan for which I am grateful. I recommend everyone to try the Italian dentist clinic for all your dental needs. It cares!

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a working day at 1:00 PM for Dr. Upasana Khemka. The day before the appointment, the nurse told me that the doctor had called and cancelled my appointment. Not very good, but life happens. I re-booked the next day, asking if it would definitely not be cancelled. They confirmed that I would definitely be seen. Imagine my surprise when this appointment was again banned by the doctor again.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Anil, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Dr. Anil is extremely professional, explaining each step of the process with clarity and patience, which made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the treatment. Negative experience: Horrible experience 1 year ago with Dr. Sumit Bhatia . His orthopaedic plan ( extraction of 2 baby teeth’s and closing the gaps with braces) that was advised by dr. Sumit was wrong from the beginning, after 8 months I had my doubts and went for second opinion that’s how I found out that this plan is absolutely wrong . Also i found the dr. Sumit very unprofessional how he communicated with me as patient : strange jocks, gossiping about his colleagues, and all this in front of me . Every visit was super painful and dr. Summit was very rude to me when I told him that’s hurts very badly In my opinion this clinic needs to pay me my money as compensation Kind regards ,

Negative experience: Inexperienced amateur dentists - Went to this clinic for about a year and I kept having recurring dental problems. Once a filling that they did just fell out in my mouth a few months later! Recently went to another dentist who took an xray to tell me that previous fillings i had done (which were at italian dental clinic) were already decaying. Now i realised they really did a bad job with my teeth and now I have to do much more invasive procedures to fix them. Not high quality care

Negative experience: Horrible experience in this clinic. I was a practice subject for an unskilled “doctor” that destroyed my front teeth. She did a procedure without my consent that led to having to have veneers done(in a different clinic, as I would never put my foot back in this unprofessional place). This must have been done on purpose, since she was constantly making negative comments about my dentures, and insisted I should have veneers done. Is shocking that a clinic would endorse an unskilled doctor that doesn’t understand the concept of consent. The photo shows my teeth days after the clinic visit.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here since I moved to Dubai 4 years ago. I see Dr. Upasana and she’s great! She explains everything and truly cares about your dental hygiene. Very nice and very knowledgeable. I go once every 6 months and sometimes in between because I’m crazy about my teeth. Parking is free just across the street. My husband also sees her and my son. Soon when my babies teeth come in I’ll have her check him out too. 5 stars well deserved.

Negative experience: First I want to say Dr. Mai and the staff are great. I have been going to this dental clinic for a few years. I am an educator and unfortunately our medical package does not include dental. I have been paying out of pocket for my dental needs. The bill was never too bad. However, I went today to have 4 fillings refilled that came out . They charged me 3,200 aed to repair 4 fillings. Shocked and confused, I was told they have new management and I could use tabby. I ended up not using tabby but paying the full amount . I was told the bill was over 4000 but they gave me a discount. My fault for thinking the bill would’ve been approximately the same as previous years . Note that my fillings were previously 200-400 aed per tooth. The clinic’s fault for not telling the price before starting the service. I won’t be back. The markup is too much. So long Italian Dental Clinic. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Just came there before with an excellent service handled by Ms. Grace and the doctors, however when she left, everything changed. I had an initial root canal with Dr. Mai, and when I came to do the final touch, I was assigned by the new receptionist to a different doctor who just repeated the same process and the root canal closure was not done. Also I came to this place as they have promised me with a full coverage, and on my 3rd visit the receptionist start asking for a co-pay due to some new rules etc. Now they put a temporary filling to it and its been 2-3 weeks no one contacted me again. I have pulled out all my colleague/workmates who came and supposed to come to go somewhere else. And after Ms. Grace left, seems everything now is unorganized and lack of responsibility and ownership.

Fantastic experience: First time coming to this clinic, but definitely it would not be the last. Amazing and super helpful staff, they made the booking process and the entire experience extremely pleasant. The Dr.Mai is absolutely fantastic, she is very professional, explains in details all the procedures which is so comfortable and helpful for someone who has anxiety to go for the dentist, she is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and she is making the procedures way easier.
