Fantastic experience: I like visiting Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital. It has a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. One of the hospital division that demonstrate their professionalism is the hospital's pharmacy. Its team does all their best to provide patients with the best service. During my last visit, I had a truly excellent experience with Mr. HUSSEIN ALSLUBI at Mediclinic Al Jowhara Pharmacy. HUSSEIN is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely caring. He went above and beyond to help me find the most effective and affordable medications. What impressed me the most was HUSEIN's willingness to communicate directly with my insurance company ( to sort out coverage issues — something many wouldn't take the time to do. Even after his shift had ended, HUSSEIN stayed for 30 minutes to ensure my medication issues were resolved and personally followed up with the insurance company. His dedication, patience, and clear communication made a stressful situation so much easier. It's rare to find someone in healthcare who combines expertise with such personalized support. Negative experience: I had a frustrating experience at Mediclinic Jawhara Hospital. My doctor advised me to come as a walk-in, but I ended up waiting for over 3 hours with no clear communication. I kept asking the nurse when my turn would be, but she only kept saying, “just wait,” with no explanation or update. Eventually, I left without being seen. I raised a complaint with the complaints officer, but unfortunately, she was very rude and didn’t even offer an apology. I also contacted the call center and received a reference number, but no one followed up or investigated the issue. In the end, I went ahead and did my surgery at the hospital. The only positive part of my experience was my doctor and the nursing team, who were professional and caring. However, the overall cleanliness of the facility was poor and needs serious improvement.

Negative experience: I don’t usually leave reviews for hospitals, but I feel like people need to be warned about how poorly this hospital handles emergency situations. We came in with a teenager who was suffering from severe food poisoning — intense nausea, vomiting, and visibly in distress. We had an 18-year-old with us who is legally considered an adult and was fully prepared to act as a guardian, but the staff still refused to admit the patient. We were left waiting and trying to explain the urgency of the situation, but no one seemed to care or take us seriously. Once they finally allowed us to proceed, things didn’t get any better. We had to wait around 15–20 minutes before any nurse or doctor even came to check on us. In an emergency room, that kind of delay is just unacceptable, especially when someone is clearly unwell and getting worse by the minute. It felt like we were just sitting there, helpless, while the staff moved around slowly and without any sense of urgency. Eventually, they gave IV fluids, but after that, it was like we were completely forgotten. I had to walk around trying to find a nurse — there was no one in the area, no one checking in, no follow-up, nothing. The lack of attention and support from the staff was honestly shocking. In a place where people are supposed to feel safe and cared for, we felt completely ignored. This was not just bad service — it was neglect. If this is how they handle emergencies, I’d be very concerned about anyone trusting this place with real medical care. The staff lacked empathy, professionalism, and any sense of responsibility. It was one of the worst healthcare experiences we’ve ever gone through. Do better.

On Friday, I arrived in pain and was immediately welcomed with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency by the on-call doctors and nurses. Negative experience: I want to complain about the result of my abdomen ultrasound. The findings that they wrote was all about joints and bone and tissue which is not related to the procedure that they did to me. I’ve called many times in the call center and they’re still releasing the same report that they uploaded in Malaffi. Now they want me to go back to Al Jowhara to fix things, which in behalf is not my fault. It’s hassle on my side since I have work and kids to take care of and a waste of time.

Positive experience: During my last visit, my experience was not very good about Assessment room. Many parients just standaning outside waiting for their turn. All the available seats were full, so you have no option, but to stand. Also, Noone was their to tell you about your turn while you were standing. I was standing for more than 10 minutes. There must be someone to assist.

Fantastic experience: Where I have been going when sick since 2021! The doctors are all amazing. I also gave birth to my baby in this hospital. Negative experience: My one star rating is to the urgent care (emergency) you need to be ready to wait at least two hours to see the doctor. I came at 9:45 pm and i left after 12:00 am. They told me, three doctors are on duty, however the performance is as if there is no doctor on duty. Avoid coming to it for urgent care unless you like to wait for long time.

Negative experience: I've had, what was supposed to be, an "easy surgery"on my knee by dr. Djordevic. Clearly it was easy only in theory and not in practice, because after more than a year I still have pain in the knee.... And I am a sport active person.

Negative experience: I heard good things about a certain consultant doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, but the reality turned out to be the complete opposite. Dr. Samer, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, was the doctor I visited because I am pregnant. This will be my fourth C-section, and my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. However, when I visited him, he did not welcome me kindly and even mocked me for asking about the C- section early in my pregnancy. He spoke in a condescending manner, as if he had no interest in my concerns, and seemed eager to finish the appointment as quickly as possible. What’s shocking is that the clinic was completely empty—there were no other patients waiting! After leaving, I finally understood why. I will never go back to him, and I do not recommend him to any patient!

Positive experience: Dr Rizik (children doc) and Dr adwan) are the best two doctors that I have encountered at this hospital. Though the nurses at times may vary in experience these two doctors have been worth this trip and experience when a visit is needed.

Negative experience: Came with ear bleeding and severe headache and they made me wait for 1 hour and allow every other patient in (who came afterwards) regardless of my condition, when i ask the nurse she was like this is the process. For your information, they tell you to come half an hour before your appointment, but unfortunately they admit you hours after your appointment and the treatment of some aid and nurses is very, very bad.

Negative experience: In terms of reception and staff, everything was fine, but when I went to see Dr. Nasir Hindi Sirhan, he didn’t even listen to me about my complaints. Negative experience: Dr. Kamal He didn't even take the time to examine me. He didn't check my sore throat or breathing, and simply assumed I was fine without a physical examination. He didn’t prescribe any painkillers. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Now, I’m at home in pain, so he was clearly wrong.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE SERVICE Took an appointment one month in advance and called and texted on whatsapp to confirm my insurance is covered. THEY EXPLICITLY CONFIRMED MY INSURANCE COVERAGE 3 TIMES. When i went for my appointment the clerks told me that i am not covered and i cannot attend the appointment i have been waiting over a month for. Mediclinic had my emirates ID and insurance information for over a month and even called to confirm my appointment. Yet they failed to communicate clearly that my insurance is not covered, they are wasting the time of patients. When writing a complaint, the complaints manager Ms Alia was absolutely no help at all. being very rude in her tone, only repeating what had happened and not offering any solutions. My experience with her was disgusting and made matters even worse. She blamed the call center for not providing information correctly, even though there is no way of contacting Jowhara branch directly. As a patient i confirmed my insurance eligibility 3 time from 3 different sources for a specific branch and specific Dr of Mediclinic, yet they all failed to communicate the status of my coverage. Below is one of the ways i confirmed my coverage while texting Mediclinic on whatsapp. Absolute waste of time and energy, this hospital time and time again fails to upkeep the simplest standards.

Negative experience: We had two orthopaedic appointments with Dr Loay for 6:40 pm. At 7:20 pm other patients were admitted. I asked when our turn would be, seeing that we waited already 40 minutes, and was told there was yet another patient after this one. I informed them that this was not acceptable and went to the cashier for refund. The cashier, a gentleman with round golden glasses, could not find my credit card payment that needed to be refunded. We had to go to his boss after about 20 minutes of fruitless search for the payment. Golden glass was told immediately that if you pay with Apple Pay the number in his system is not going to be the same as the Credit Card number. This man is taking payments all day and does not know the basics of his job and that is how he wasted my time. The nurse of Dr Loay makes it sound like the hospital's failure to plan the patient volume is the patient's fault. I will not return to this Hospital. it is a pity because the Al Ain Mediclinic hospital downtown is actually very good. But the Jowhara Facility seems to be staffed with people who don't know and don't care.

Negative experience: My baby was admitted in jowhara on 24th January 2024. As per discharge summary and instrcution from the duty doctor there is an echocardiogram test pending.They told me that they will inform me the apointment date and time. Negative experience: I visited you on the date of 22/8/2023 for a gestational diabetes test. A full month after the test, I was informed that I have gestational diabetes. It is worth mentioning that this delay has negatively impacted my health and the health of the fetus. I would like to point out that I discovered this problem during my subsequent visit to the doctor on 19/9/2023, where Dr. Alia Adwan explained that the delay was due to the staff member responsible for notifying patients being on leave. I find these reasons unconvincing and not reflecting the professionalism expected from a hospital of Mediclinic’s size and reputation. Therefore, I hold the hospital fully responsible for any issues that may arise for the child or fetus due to this delay.

Negative experience: UPDATE. It's been 1 month, and still no one has contacted me from the hospital. They are obviously very concerned about their patients. Went to the physiotherapist Ponnu for a shoulder problem. He was distracted and vague, but promised he could fix the problem. After about 5 or 6 sessions, all I got was advice to go to his YouTube Channel, and a permanent scar from the burn of the heat pad he put on me. He did not apologise, but said that that area of my shoulder was too boney...? Where are the professionals who care about their jobs?

Negative experience: The day i Visited this hopital. It was more of a construction site than hospital. My 7 months old son got scared and was continuously crying due to loud noises caused by iron cutting machines. Secondly, the lady in lab never dealth with babies so she called someone else to take blood sample. After taking samples she was so slow to put bandage. Seems like she was in training.
