Fantastic experience: Arguably the best dentist i’ve been to and i have been to several since i had braces and retainer, my wisdom tooth operation took not more than 10 minutes and i felt almost nothing. I did not even realize the tooth came out. From service to the operation it was all perfect al hamdolila. Highly recommend Dr Homan for anyone whose having dental issues he is amazing

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. He is the best dentist for Dentists too. I am a dentist for children and I share so many of my children’s anxiety towards dentistry. Dr Homan puts me at ease, asks about me during the procedure all the time, takes it nice and easy , explains everything about my procedure. He is a gemstone and he has such gentle hands. I love his office and his staff are super friendly. Ms Salwa books your appointments promptly helps you with everything you need and welcomes you right in. Clinic is super clean and there is great compliance with Covid regulations.

Negative experience: I went to see Dr Homan in December 2015 with regards to a dental implant in my upper front teeth. I'd lost one of my front teeth about 10 years previous, and had a crown in place which was beginning to fail. My gum had receded quite badly, so I'd expected to require at least a gum graft, if not a bone graft too. Dr Homan told me that this was not the case and he could replace the crown with an implant in the same procedure and he was very confident it would be a success. Unfortunately this was very poor advice. In the time that has passed since my implant procedure, the bone and the gum have continued to recede and the implant is now fully visible above my front teeth. I have been receiving further treatment here in Cape Town where I currently live. The dentist & periodontist that I have been seeing have advised that not only was I definitely not a good candidate for an implant without a bone graft, the placement of the implant is also poor. It has been placed too far forward which has worsened the recession of the gum and bone. There is now actually no bone at all in front of the implant. hence it is visible above my teeth. They believe it is very close to failing altogether and falling out. I am now faced with a painful and extremely expensive treatment which will involve a general anesthetic, a bone and gum graft, a 6 month period of recovery where I will be required to wear a denture and finally a new prosthetic tooth. This procedure would have been far simpler if it had have been carried out 3 years ago when the crown initially failed. My advice to anyone considering visiting Dr Homan for reconstructive or cosmetic denistry is to be very careful. For me it has been a very expensive lesson and I'm still a complex and painful procedure away from saving my smile.
