Fantastic experience: Very good, cleaning and alignment. Lots of improvement.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my concerns regarding the quality of service at this facility. My boyfriend, Joris, visited this dentist over a month ago for treatment on a chipped tooth. Unfortunately, the outcome was unsatisfactory, as the tooth was visibly misaligned after the procedure. The dentist who performed the work advised him to return two days later to improve it. Less than 10 hours after the second procedure, the fixed part just dropped from his tooth. After waiting for a follow-up appointment, Joris just returned and the procedure was redone by a different dentist. However, upon returning home, it was clear that the new tooth was uneven, with one side significantly longer and thicker than the other. On top of this he told me that the service was unprofessional, especially compared to the first two visits. A month and a half later, the tooth just let loose again during the night (yesterday). This repeated issue raises concerns about either the proficiency of the dental staff or the possibility of inadequate practices. Despite multiple attempts (3 procedures) to rectify the problem, the tooth has not been properly fixed. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and lead to improvements in the quality of care provided.

Negative experience: Stay away. I asked availability for half hour later/or even better if an hour later (because i live across and didn’t have my purse) and if they work with insurance. They said they work with insurance. In a few minutes we were inside. My son’s general examination (with mirror/camera) was completed and his hands full with a pencil sharpener, tooth brush and voucher. And I was asked to pay 400 aed. 400 aed for checking with mirror and no info beforehand. I said what happened to insurance, they said you can get reimbursed. Irrelevant because then why would I ask insurance. Then when I got critical they said it’s ok you may not pay, come back for polishing later. I paid of course. But it was a joke! Like an accelerated deceit.

Fantastic experience: Went for Zoom tooth whitening along with other family members. All of us were really pleased with the result.Very nice practice - we went to JBR.

Fantastic experience: Went to this dentist with severe tooth pain. They diagnosed problem and informed me that a root canal was necessary. Root canal procedure by Dr Hilda was totally professional and painless and one of my best dental experiences. Everyone who works there was friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place highly.

Negative experience: I want to share my feedback for this clinic as a patient and as a Medical doctor. I came to Dubai for a holiday and i had a metallic retainer holding my teeth in a proper position after orthodontic treatment. Unfortunately i broke it and had to come to Dentcare clinic to fix it. I was choosing between Medcare and Dentcare and chose Dentcare clinic as they had free slot. I really regret coming to this place and not to be bias I will just put facts on the table so any new patient can make their own judgement about the service provided. What was done good: - Dr. Hilda did excellent job in cleaning my teeth and removing a retainer - Dr. Hilda and the staff of the clinic was very open, polite and fast What was done bad: - Dr. Hilda tried to fix a retainer - i payed 250 AED and it lasted for 2 hours and broke again - After this failure Dr. Hilda proposed to remove my retainer and ensured me that Dr. Moza Obaid Tahware the orthodontist will come and put a new metallic retainer in place tomorrow - i have agreed - Dr. Moza arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment - We discussed a treatment plan with Dr. Moza. I wanted her to follow the same treatment plan as i had in the past because it worked, she wanted to have her own plan not considering all aspects of my clinical situation. I was unhappy with that but then i have agreed on her plan just to have something done as when retainer is broken you risk of getting complications. - After 20 minutes of discussion, in spite of me asking for help Dr. Moza refused to install new retainer even following her treatment plan Result after my interactions with Dentcare clinic: - i have lost time - i was given false promises of help - i am left without orthodontic help with broken retainer hurting gums and making very hard to eat - i have to urgently find a new orthodontist in a day which is not easy What i would do if i knew it all before - i would have waited a made an appointment to Medcare clinic. As a doctor and a busy person i never write reviews. But in this case i decided to invest my time in it and even attach photos of my broken retainer (to make sure the clinic will not call ma a liar) because i truly believe that all patients deserve proper medical care and need to know the truth before coming to clinic.
