Negative experience: Misleading Information and Zero Accountability – A Costly Experience I went to Akeela Clinic because of severe tooth pain, trusting that I would receive proper care. Before anything, I made sure to ask if they were covered by my insurance (Nextcare). Without hesitation, they said yes, so I proceeded with the consultation. After a check-up, they told me that I needed a root canal surgery and a crown replacement. Of course, before agreeing to something that major, I double-checked again—was this procedure covered by my insurance? They confidently reassured me: “Yes, but through reimbursement.” They explained that I had to pay upfront, submit the paperwork to my insurance, and I would get my money back. Since they were so sure about it, I trusted them and moved forward with the treatment. After three visits, my procedure was done. Before leaving, they even tried to convince me to get a cleaning, but since this treatment was already way over my budget, I declined. They handed me a file and told me to submit it for reimbursement. That’s when the nightmare started. I submitted my claim to Nextcare, expecting a smooth process—after all, the clinic had assured me it was covered. Instead, my claim was instantly rejected. The reason? This procedure was supposed to be direct billing, not reimbursement. Confused, I went back to Akeela Clinic to clarify. Their response? “Oh, the form we gave you was wrong. Here, try this new one.” Thinking it was just a simple mix-up, I resubmitted the corrected form. Rejected again. Same reason. Nextcare clearly stated: This procedure should never have been handled as reimbursement. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. I demanded that Akeela Clinic call the insurance company themselves and sort it out. After two weeks of waiting and repeatedly following up, they finally told me: “Your insurance doesn’t cover this procedure because it was not an emergency.” Wait, WHAT?! So let me get this straight—I came in with severe pain, asked the right questions, was promised I’d be reimbursed, only to find out after paying out of pocket that it wasn’t covered at all? And now they suddenly claim it wasn’t their responsibility to check my eligibility? When I told them that if they weren’t sure, I could have explored other options, their response was even more frustrating: “No other clinic would have reimbursed you either, because this wasn’t an emergency.” Excuse me? That was never their decision to make. Their job was to provide me with accurate information, not just assume how my insurance would handle it. Then they gave another unbelievable excuse—that they don’t have access to check a patient’s eligibility. If that were true, then why were they so confident that I would be reimbursed in the first place? And if this is their “usual process” for Nextcare patients, how many others have gone through this same ordeal? Regardless, my experience was a complete disappointment. I was given misleading information, pressured into an expensive treatment under false assurances, and left to deal with the financial burden alone. For anyone considering this clinic, I strongly urge you to double-check everything, especially regarding insurance coverage, and always seek a second opinion before agreeing to any major procedure. Akeela Clinic had one job—to provide correct information so I could make an informed decision about my health and finances. Instead, they left me with an expensive bill, zero accountability, and unanswered questions. I trusted them, and that trust cost me. Don’t let it cost you too. Think twice before coming here.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and doctors i make my wisdom tooth with DR Bincy and tasneem so professional and good i recommend this clinic for everyone

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, I had a complicated situation with my broken upper tooth swelling and infection and too much pain, Dr. Bincy and Dr. Tasneem did their best to extract it smoothly, thanks to them and also the reception guy was so helpful.

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Akeela Dental Clinic. A year ago, I went in for a simple tooth restoration, but they insisted on an expensive composite filling, claiming it would be more durable and long-lasting. I trusted their recommendation — big mistake. Just a year later, the crown fell off. I was lucky I didn’t swallow it. I returned to have it reattached, only for it to fall off again just two months later. This has never happened with other dental work I’ve had in the past — I have restorations from 3–4 years ago from other clinics that are still perfectly fine. What really bothers me is how overpriced their services are for such poor quality. You’d expect exceptional work for the amount they charge, but it was the complete opposite. I left feeling scammed, disappointed, and with more dental problems than I started with. I’ve since decided never to return and have gone to a different clinic where I finally feel like I’m in good hands. If you're considering Akeela Dental, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere — don't be fooled by the fancy prices or empty promises.

Negative experience: غير محترفين، تم التواصل معهم لزراعة الاسنان واخدت موعد لعمل استشارة، ولكن للاسف بعد ما دفعت الاستشارة حكولي الدكتور مش موجود ورح يتواصل معي عشان يعطيني السعر، ولكن لما حكولي السعر وطلبت خصم حكولي الخصم مع الدكتور ورح يتواصل معي على اساس تاني يوم. وطلع بالاخر كله حكي فاضي، لا حدا تواصل ولا عرفت السعر النهائي لاربع زرعات كم بتكلف، يعني لو دفعت الاستشارة بمكان ثاني واخذت المعلومة الصح والسعر كان افضل الي.

Negative experience: Having been in Dubai for almost 18 years, I never felt cheated nor been frustrated with any dental clinics until I availed services in Akeela Clinic in The Gardens area. I started my treatment in May and ended in August (by force) since they do not follow up on their customers. Who finishes a simple dentures(not good quality), retainer in a span of four months or beyond? only in Akeela with Doc Bincy. I paid in full in the first month after the insistent receptionist asking to pay in full even if the services are done in installment. Part of the package is cleaning and filings for few teeth but then again I am asked to pay, thru the insurance. What a very good way to make money. Anyway, if you want to be cheated and be pissed off with the dental clinic, this clinic is highly recommended to mess up your day and your insurance. I hope the insurance will do a thorough scrutiny of their invoices/receipts to really check what they do inside. Sorry, honestly it would be "no stars" for this clinic but could not post this without pressing one.

Fantastic experience: My son have class 3 malocclusion / reverse bite and has his braces for 1.5 years - monthly changes of his braces but his case have not improved with other clinic. When we shifted his Orthodontist last year and went to Akeela Dental Clinic, with Dr Akeela it took 6 Months (monthly visit for braces adjustment), huge improvement and my son's bite corrected and is now normal Braces replaced with retainer. No credibility in appointments, the clinic looks like a bus station - who ever comes first gets on the chair !! Negative experience: Friendly and well organized staff. Unfortunately the doctor wasn't good in diagnosing and handling our issue. Also my advice, when a crown doesn't fit the tooth from the first time. Extra drilling and filing to make it fit is a recipe for disaster always.

Fantastic experience: Akeela Dental Clinic gave me hope. I really have a weak gums and teeth. It does break so easily without a force and leaves a remains in my gums. Visiting some dental clinics made me feel little sad that they always asked me to do surgical extraction which will charge me more but then this clinic, one of the best doctor I know, tried everything she can to use the normal procedure before proceeding to the last option. Dr. Bincy is one of the best! She’s my Angel that was sent from above. Once I read something and it says, “So much of our health begins in our mouth. Negative experience: This dentist was worst experience i have ever had all my entire life. Dr. Zain is way far away from professionalism. He was literally shouting my face since i was not happy about the result. The veneer he suggested was not matching with my other teeth neither color nor shape and he was just acting like that is normal and continuing his rude behavior. Definitely he is not someone you can go for veneer es requires some aesthetic value which he is way far away from it, First of all, as doctor before you should focus on people's treatment rather than just the getting money ( he got advance payment from me before he done anything properly and refused any refund). He cutted my teeth on very bad way still after 1 year my new dentist talking about it to his other patient to be careful how going wrong dentist can ruin your teeth. I know couple of more people faced with his rude attitude on same and again with wrong treatment. Please be away from here and dont have same trauma as i had

Wisdom tooth removal was a complex one and Dr Anas did a perfect service. He is well experiences highly professional and very patient in his works.
