Negative experience: This was the worst experience in visiting a health care facility in UAE. 1. The basement parking is restricted to 1 hour after which it would be chargable. 2. There were no clear directions to help us reach the clinic. 3. We reached the clinic a bit later than the appointment time due to the hassle in finding parking and thereafter the clinic. After doing the initial registration, we were requested to wait with no indication of a time period. After approximately 30 minutes of waiting without any update, we checked and were informed that there are 2 more patients before us. No initiative was taken by the team at the front desk to be proactive and mindful of client's time. Will not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Negative experience: No doubt Dr.Safwan is one of the best doctors and my lasik experience is one of the best. However, the appointment management experience is one of the worst! Today I came for the 1 month lasik follow up, had to wait 45 min (although the clinic was not crowded) to get checked by the nurse for a 10 min check up and had to wait again 20 min for the doctor and the shock was they admitted a patient who came after me to the doctor, which had me lose my temper and leave without getting checked by the doctor. So not only bad time management and slowness, but also disrespect and unprofessionalism.

He is a gentleman with lot of knowledge and expertise who holds a good kind humanity as his main weapon for treating patients. Negative experience: I recently had an unfortunate experience with dr safwan who displayed a complete lack of empathy and refused to listen to my concerns. My encounter with Dr safwan left me highly dissatisfied and frustrated. Healthcare professionals need to realise that patients' voices and concerns matter, and unfortunately, this doctor failed to understand this fundamental aspect of patient care. Upon entering the eye doctor's office, I was initially hopeful for a positive experience. However, as soon as I attempted to share my discomfort and explain the issues I was experiencing with my eyes, the doctor swiftly shut me down with an air of dismissiveness and rudeness. It was apparent that this doctor had no interest in actually listening to my concerns or providing the necessary attention I needed as a patient seeking assistance. The doctor's behaviour was noticeably condescending, making me feel belittled and unheard. Despite my attempts to explain the intricacies of my discomfort, the doctor continued to interrupt and rush through the examination, treating me more like another item on their to-do list, rather than a patient in need. This not only compromised any opportunity to gain a proper diagnosis but also left me feeling frustrated and invalidated. Beyond the dismissive demeanor, the doctor's lack of willingness to listen to my concerns demonstrated a disregard for establishing a positive doctor-patient relationship. Trust and communication are crucial aspects of any healthcare setting, but Dr safwan Al bayat failed in both regards. It left me questioning whether my well-being was genuinely their priority or merely an inconvenience. As a patient, I believe it is crucial to be treated with respect and given the chance to voice concerns and symptoms openly. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr safwan quite the opposite. It is disheartening to encounter professionals who neglect these essential qualities, as it ultimately hinders the overall quality of care received. In conclusion, my experience with this rude eye doctor left me feeling unheard, invalidated, and quite dissatisfied. I strongly advise others to seek alternative options when it comes to their eye care, ensuring they find a healthcare professional who not only possesses clinical expertise but also values patient interaction and displays empathy.

Fantastic experience: I made cataracts operation for both eyes. First I made the right hand side , then after 5 days I made the left side. It take each one about: 10 - 15 minutes with no pain or blood or any problems: like magics I choosed “New Vision Eye Center” after I met 4 consultants in Ajman, Sharjah, and Dubai and after long investigation I decided to do the operation with Dr. Safwan Albayati. Dr. Safwan is professional, kind, and capable to do any operations in his specialty and he have wonderful team and very kind and helpful. All the team are nice and they treat me like their father starting from reception to the operation room . Specially Kirsten Babiera, she is wonderful and kind. All the instrument of the center are modern, and reliable. Fantastic experience: I have never thought that I will be able to get back my 20/20 vision again but I did! Praise be to God! I have struggled with astigmatism and eyeglasses for more than 20 years. New Vision Eye Center did an amazing job! Dr Al Bayati is a seasoned eye expert, plus the staffs are incredibly skilled and accommodating.

Negative experience: Dr. Sofuan performed Lasic on my sister's eyes without considering her medical condition. He was aware of her condition but still went ahead with the procedure, which worsened her vision. Other doctors diagnosed her with Retinitis pigmentosa, which was made worse by the Lasic. I wish there was a system in Dubai to hold him accountable and close his clinic. It's best to avoid him completely.

Negative experience: I did not like Dr. Safwan's attitude; he was angry and passive aggressive towards me because he was not happy that I came to him for a second opinion. He used complicated medical terminology unnecessarily and commented about my lack of knowledge about my condition instead of trying to educate me about it, in the end that was the intention of the visit. I felt uncomfortable throughout the whole visit so needless to say, I will never come back to this clinic nor will I recommend this to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I engaged in seven consultations in Dubai having discounted the UK as an option due to the prohibitive price quoted. Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati at New Vision was by far the most impressive! Firstly, the initial tests were the most comprehensive and this included a full retina check as part of the free consultation that other practices wished to charge for at a second stage consultation. Secondly, the amount of analytic reports Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati had studied and had with him when we met was more than at any other surgery. Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati spent a significant amount of time answering questions and detailing the reasons for his preferred medical advice and I never once felt rushed to finish the meeting. It was most impressive that in comparison to other practices, Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati proposed procedures on the basis of what was fundamentally the correct advice for me. Compared to other practices that suggested additional procedures that merited no benefit to someone of my age, this was very well appreciated by me. Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati is a busy medical surgeon and has a team in place to answer basic questions and yet he was still on hand to reply to all my questions, many of them at times in the late evening and outside of practice hours. I feel assured in recommending that Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati's time and medical opinions should be respected as he is not only a highly trained and successful professional in his field, he is a humble and decent man that bestowed me with great respect and time. Unlike the other practices I met with in Dubai (bar one), Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati proposed that I should wait for six months before proceeding with surgery as this would allow him to compare scans over a greater period and to see if a potential condition that is hard to fully diagnose at this stage has progressed or if it's remained stable. If stable, I will insist upon New Vision gaining me as a patient as my gratitude for Dr. Safwan Al-Bayati's significant input of time in my case. Being an overthinker and overly technical in my attempts to reach a well-founded decision can often frustrate and test the patience of those there to advise me. Fantastic experience: Dr. Omar is a wonderful dentist. I received fillings and had some parts of my gum lasered in order to allow the wisdom tooth to fully erupt. He talked me through each step of the process and was very attentive. I didn’t find out the dental nurse’s name but she was great too. I’m happy to recommend this clinic to anyone who needs dental work - whether surgical or cosmetic. I can’t wait to return for teeth whitening later this year.

Negative experience: I took my mom today for consultation. After more then one and half hour waiting we went inside. The doctor is very short tempered and doesn’t know how to speak to clients My mother is above 50 and he was rude speaking to her he thinks just because she is old she doesn’t understand and he explain things in a very angry way and gets upset if the client has questions. The procedure costs around 30k for both eyes so she just asked of they will have offer or discounts soon he said this is not a clothes shop to make offers. We came all the way from Abu Dhabi to see him thinking that he is a good doctor, but what’s the use of your experience if you will be rude and arrogant??

I have a very low pain tolerance and so anxious because I was scared but all my worries was kept at bay and everything went smoothly. Now I have a perfect vision and no longer need to wear my eyeglasses!

Fantastic experience: My goal for 2021 was to have a clear vision. I was scared at first but I finally took the courage and book for a consultation at New Vision Eye Centerin Dubai Healthcare City. First I had to go through series of tests to see if I’m eligible for an eye surgery. They measured all sorts of details about my eyes: power, thickness of cornea, eye pressure, tear production, etc. After the full assessment, they immediately scheduled my surgery. I initially felt nervous, but I was relieved that I did not feel any pain during the procedure. They used anesthesia drops that were strong enough for me to not feel anything. The surgery was brief and totally painless. A day after the procedure my eyesight is a lot clearer, still a bit hazy as my eyes are still adjusting. Today is 2months after my procedure and I am already happy and satisfied with the result. What a kind of relief opening my eyes in the morning without wearing any specs especially at work. I’m very happy that I gained this vision. 5 years na po akong naka eyeglasses at ngayon lang uli ako nakakita ng ganung kalinaw parang HD talaga. So amazed with how advanced the tech now is. Super thankful to the whole team as they took excellent care of me most especially to Dr. Safwan Al Bayati. He really took time to answer all my questions before I underwent LASIK surgery. Negative experience: Dr S is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful doctor I've met. It was my first lasik consultation ever and I was expecting to be guided through the process, instead he was rushed and barely spoke to me for 5 minutes. He then bullied and mocked me for not being vaccinated. I left his room feeling terrified and humiliated. After some time, I was shocked to see an Arab couple walk in and his behavior with them was very nice! I'm Indian and now I see why I was treated like that. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!!!

Fantastic experience: Literally, LIFE CHANGING!❤️ I've been wearing glasses for more than a decade. Last April 28, I finally had my TransPRK Laser. Prior to the laser treatment, they will do series of eye test and assessment to check if you are qualified to undergo the surgery. They explained what should I expect during the procedure and provided all the necassary measures before the surgery. The procedure took less than 10mins. Then BoOoOoM! I am done ✅ After 11 long yeaaaaars, having the freedom of not relying on eyeglasses is absolutely AMAZING! KILIG to the highest level! I am literally dancing with sooooo much happiness. Fantastic experience: After Few years of long research and ongoing budget issues, i decided to finally take the leap of faith, when i saw an offer for Lasik in New Vision Eye Center. I went to the clinic with a lot of fear and apprehensions about the procedure and to be honest i was ready to flee the minute i felt the slightest bit of unease. However fast forward to today, I have done the lasik procedure through the skillful hands of Dr Safwan and I dont have words to thank him and the staff enough for giving me back my eyesight. After 2 decades of struggle with Eye glasses and Contact lenses, I am truly experiencing Freedom now. My initial fears were dismissed when i underwent the many tests, to check my eye condition, power and overall Health in General. Later on the day of the procedure, I was really made to feel comfortable by the nurses and the operation was over in less than a few minutes. Almost immediately i could see everything much clearly and later they briefed me well about the post surgery care and medications. My happiness knows no bounds now that i dont need glasses or lens anymore now and hopefully in future as well. I can guarantee that this center is one of the best for Lasik and Dr Safwan is truly a master at his field! Thank you!

Negative experience: First I asked about a if how much is the veneers so they sent me a list as if it’s a menu Then I tried to explain to them about my teeth on what’s app they told me send a picture of my teeth. After sending the picture he/she told me yeah the doctor can take a look at it If you don’t know or your not sure why ask for a picture form the first place if you not a doctor Asked me to come after a week just for a check up witch literally takes 10 minutes Even for a guy that was going to pay more than 10K Very bad customer service don’t recommend at all

Positive experience: i just want to share my experience here, things are not as simple as it appears even after months and months you can face some issues and need a comprehensive care no matter how advance is the tech and medication. i was under the impression that going for ultra lasik will be an easy way to regain the vision however its not that simple. each day comes with a new challenge. no doubt that the staff and the doctor himself is qualified and tech used is also upto the mark, however if you are unlucky things can be a bit messy. i would prefer to use the same ugly glasses rather than going for an experience that could have unexpected consequences but its too late i guess.

Yesterday 27th of September 2020 was my Ultralasik surgery, Dr. Safwan and the staff were very very accommodating since day 1 of my free eye check up. I never regret coming to them. Despite of so many eye check ups I've done with different eye clinics, New Vision Eye Center has the most innovative, high tech and I could say their way of check up is way too different from the rest, and that day I knew that I found the right eye center. all my negative "what if's" were carefully explained by Dr. Safwan, and during my operation Dr. Safwan assures me that I'm more safe than what I think. My PAINLESS ultralasik surgery took only 15 mins and I noticed immediate effect. I can see from a far. and now at exactly 4:55 pm sept. 28. I can see both (near and far) I've never been this happy and I hope I would know their clinic the soonest. To my fellow Kabayan that are scared and having a hard time choosing the perfect eye center to do their LASIK or LASER. Try New Vision Eye Center and see the difference. I am so much Happy that God lead me to New Vision Eye Center. I'm free of glasses now. Yeeeeyyyy!

Negative experience: Very bad owner, very selfish, inconsiderate and inappropriate. I had an appointment afternoon, but the same day they told me to come at 10am or you will miss it, so I went there and waited for a whole hour, then I entered for the consultation, and it was the owner of the clinic himself. I just told him that they kept me waiting for an hour, as soon as I said that he stood up and starting shouting at me, cursing and waving his hands and pointing his fingers. All that just because I came exactly on time and they thmselves made me wait an hour, he made me feel so bad as if it was my mistake, so I left the clinic immediately, and while I was driving back someone was calling me, and it turned out to be the owner of the clinic, the same Doctor I went to see, I was expecting him to call to apologize, but he kept shouting, cursing and saying that I must be learned manners and such... Very BAD clinic, very ill mannered staff and especially the owner.

Positive experience: Appointments with the clinic is difficult. They haven't answered my calls or replied my email for appointments booking. Regardless of what rating they may have here, or the experience with treatment, good communications system for effective call management is very important. —------------------—--------------------------------------- I would like to give an update on my above review posted a few months ago and what happened afterwards when I finally got the appointment for my kids. The doctor was really good, kind and a thorough professional. I strongly recommend.
