Negative experience: had a terrible experience at this dental Duval clinic. The staff was unprofessional and treated me with a lack of respect and care. I was overcharged for services that were not clearly explained, and I felt scammed. On top of that, the clinic was not clean at all — hygiene standards were very poor, which is unacceptable for a medical facility. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and professional dental care !

Negative experience: Dr Duval is not a specialist as claimed — he is a general practitioner, not qualified for the procedures he offers. I trusted him with my teeth, and it ended in complete disaster. His work caused me serious damage, and I've been suffering for over 3 years because of his negligence. Please do your research before trusting your health to someone who misleads patients and lacks the proper expertise…please all good reviews most of it from a family and friends don’t get foul … One of them, Masoud who is his friend who played patient!

Negative experience: Es ist mir ähnlich, wie meinem Vorgänger ergangen. Statt von Dr. Duval wie abgesprochen behandelt zu werden, wurde ich an Zahnärzte weitergeleitet, die sich weder um den korrekten Biss noch um die korrekte Anpassung der Kronen gekümmert haben. Dr. Duval hat lediglich meine Zähne abgeschliffen, und das wahrscheinlich fehlerhaft, da ich bis heute unter chronischen Schmerzen leide. Nach seiner Aussage hat er zu viel Säure verwendet, was mir leider auch nicht hilft. Ich habe leider die Behandlung wie mein Vorgänger nicht abgebrochen, was ich auf jeden Fall hätte machen müssen, um Schlimmeres zu verhindern. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wusste ich aber nicht, wie das Ergebnis aussehen wird und was es mit sich bringt, und dass ich in kurzer Zeit danach eine Wurzelkanalbehandlung benötigen werde. Die drei Zahnärzte, Dr. Mohamed, Dr. Oliver und Dr. Duval haben sich die Röntgenbilder angesehen, die nach der fehlerhaften fahrlässigen Behandlung in der Klinik von Dr. Duval durch zwei Ärzte in Deutschland angefertigt und als eine katastrophale und miserable Arbeit bewertet wurden, und waren der Meinung, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Großzügigerweise hat Dr. Duval mir angeboten, seine Arbeit zu korrigieren. Ich war dagegen. Ich wollte nur noch mein bezahltes Geld zurück und weg. Er hat sich geweigert, mir das Geld zurückzugeben, trotz der fahrlässigen ärztlichen Behandlung in seiner Klinik. Die Behandlung wurde zum zweiten Mal durchgeführt, neue Kronen angefertigt und wieder das Gleiche: fehlerhafter Biss, starke Zahnfleischentzündung, schlecht angepasste Kronen, andauernde Kopfschmerzen, vier Vorderkronen und zwei Veneers mit tiefen sichtbaren Rissen bereits nach einer Woche. Die Kronen, was die Ästhetik angeht, lassen auch sehr viel zu wünschen übrig. Sie werden durch den Computer angefertigt. Alle Kronen waren in 12 Stunden fertig. Der am Computer hergestellter Zahnersatz weist ästhetisch schlechtere Ergebnisse als handgefertigt vor, und ist nicht für jeden geeignet. Auch ist die Präzision der Computer-Zahnkronen im Allgemeinen noch verbesserungswürdig, beim Knirschen nicht zu empfehlen. Das alles wird aber in der Klinik ignoriert. Nach der Beurteilung der deutschen Zahnärzte ist der Zahnersatz sehr günstig und zu schnell angefertigt. Es folgten bei mir in Deutschland aufgrund starker Zahnschmerzen neue Röntgenaufnahmen und ein gesetzliches Gutachten auf Auftrag von der deutschen gesetzlichen Krankenkasse, nach dem die Erneuerung des Zahnersatzes als medizinisch notwendig eingestuft wurde. Und was macht Dr. Duval? Er reagiert auf meine Mails nicht. Nach den früheren Bewertungen ist das anscheinend seine Strategie. Ich gehe jetzt den Weg über das Gesundheitsamt in Dubai. Ich reiche da eine Beschwerde ein und ziehe vor Gericht. Noch eine Anmerkung. Zu Beginn der Behandlung empfängt Dr. Duval selbst die Patienten und versucht ihr Vertrauen zu gewinnen. Dann übernehmen die Arbeit andere Ärzte, auch wenn das vom Patienten ausdrücklich nicht erwünscht ist. Es heißt in diesem Fall, Dr. Duval ist aus familiären Gründen nicht in der Praxis anwesend, dann sieht man ihn aber doch am gleichen Tag beim Empfang neuer Patienten auf dem Korridor oder aus einem anderen Behandlungszimmer rausgehen. Das ist seine Vorgehensweise, ziemlich dreist für so viel Geld. Ich appelliere an alle Beschädigten, die Ähnliches wie ich in der Klinik von Dr. Duval erfahren haben, dass sie hier ihre Geschichten erzählen, um anderen das Leid und Schmerzen zu ersparen. Und auch dass sie beim Gesundheitsamt in Dubai eine Beschwerde wie ich einreichen, damit Dr. Duval für sein Handeln zur Verantwortung gezogen wird.

Negative experience: I went to 4 different clinics for professional consultation, advice and quotations. This one was the most expensive and the least useful and least professional. 4200 AED for a consultation that includes Panoramic X-ray and CBCT but no real advice or treatment plan. Initially, the consultation was for 1000AED including a panoramic X-Ray, However the doctor really insisted that he needs the CBCT as well in order to see the details well to give a precise diagnostic. After he insisted and made me quite uncomfortable, I felt obliged to say ok for the CBCT in order to have a clear treatment plan shared by him. They took me to the exact same room with the exact same machine and process as for the panoramic X-ray done minutes before. After that, they got me to pay right away while they finish processing the results... and that's it. The consultation was done, and I never saw the doctor again because he had another appointment, and they said that I can wait another 30+ mins, or they will share with me the rest by WhatsApp, or I could come back… I received a simple quotation and no details or call to explain the treatment plan proposed. The CBCT didn't seem needed given the outcome. In comparison, I paid 1100 AED in Dr Apa’s clinic for a real consultation where the doctor spent almost one hour with me to understand my case, ask me several questions, take X-ray, explain my options and answer my question. It was super super professional. I also had a very good consultation at Liberty Clinic with a clear explanation, no rush and even a call back by the doctor himself, to explain the quotation that was shared with me the next day and the different options. I was amazed by Duval's Instagram and was blinded to push back. Wish I had read first the negative comments on Google. Hope this helps someone else ;)

Negative experience: I visited the clinic during my research and after paying for each consultation and scans, I was asked for more than 500,000aed for the complete work. Obviously it looked really fishy. A 3 year plan was designed by a Russian doctor who was supposed to be prosthodontics specialist. During the consultation, I was persuaded to opt for the long term treatment, supposedly to work on my gums and if not treated then I’ll look old very soon & many threatening dark scenarios. however, I noticed the doctor’s unclean and smelly teeth and that was a big alarming sign that that’s not the right doctor for me. I got other comparisons & I chose a certified US prosthodontist in UAE with over 15 years experience in the same clinic that charged 100,000aed for the entire work, all flawlessly delivered in 8 months. I advise everyone to do meticulous research before opting for a dentist, especially avoiding the mirage of the social media.

I had visited many dentists before meeting him, but none made me feel as confident and assured about the procedure. The veneers he crafted for me are absolutely flawless—so much so that even other dentists can't tell I have them! The experience was further enhanced by his professional and welcoming team, who made every visit pleasant and efficient. The entire process was luxurious and worth every dirham spent. I highly recommend Dr. Duval to anyone considering veneers or any other dental procedure. His expertise and the top-notch service provided by his team truly make him the best in the field.

Negative experience: I had a complete smile restoration completed by Dr. Duval at his Jumeriah Clinic. I feel I was greatly deceived as he had advertised on social media that he was a prosthodontist with the highest level of expertise and skill. He assured me that the work that I needed done he specialized in. For that reason only, I left the US and I traveled to his renowned clinic as he also had told me that he graduated from the most prestigious universities and assured me that the work would be guaranteed. Dr. Duval‘s prices are four times expensive than Veneers in the US. Dr. Duval again assured me that he could do the work perfectly. He told me that I needed a total teeth restoration and I trusted him and his decision. Again, Dr. Duval assured me of his academic credentials and experience and started services. He charged me nearly 300,000 Dirhams for crowning the entire jaw. He again guaranteed me a beautiful smile as he promised. Following the procedure my teeth are not smooth, not straight, not aligned, and painful to chew and eat food. My jaw is off center my bite is not in alignment. My impressions were not accurate and all the whole scraping off the porcelain teeth has made the teeth all rough surface. All my teeth are hurting me I later learned that this measure is all the professional and artistic creativity that he claims. This sloppy work has caused me TMJ, severe head and neck trauma, and I'm unable to chew or daily my teeth are so so painful it has affected my work. I have had travel 4 times to Dubai from the US to see the Dr. Duval at my expense and has done nothing to solve my issues. Every time Dr. Duval assures me that he can fix the issue but still I'm in severe pain. He just wants me to go away but I will get my Justice. He has destroyed my teeth and my life. This has become a complete nightmare and the constant pain has stripped me from a normal life. It has been that the doctor can not fix what he has destroyed and will not offer me a full refund so l can fix my teeth from a real prosthodontist. I feel he doesn't care and l'm reaching out to the DHA so at least no other person can be victimized by this doctor. I do have reports from other Dentists providing reports to substantiate my problems. I have also checked with a team of experts and the Emirates, all confirming that all symptoms were caused by my non-stop clenching of my teeth. They have told me that Dr. Duval is incompetent and is liable for the poor work that he has done to my teeth. He also is not a doctor who specializes in prosthodontics. Dr. Duval also should not say he is specializes in all procedures makes him the most expensive dentist in the world and claiming to be the best of them. I learned that the general dentist does not exceed his specialty and performs prosthodontics for the entire jaw. Otherwise, what is the need for prosthodontists if the general dentist performs complex prosthodontics? I asked Dr. Duval to refer me to a doctor who specializes in prosthodontics, but refused. Please I am making this complaint on the behalf of two other women who have faced similar problems with Dr. Duval‘s work and I am hoping for some possible resolution on this matter. People need to know the truth we don't want people to get hurt like us!

Negative experience: I’m a board certified Orofacial pain specialist in the USA. I got a couple of patients that got full mouth rehabilitation done by Dr. Duval. I can say without a doubt that he is a general dentist should never step on the toes of a specialist and do such a complicated procedure without a proper training. I have seen several patients from this clinic that paid an arm and leg and got a beautiful smile but horrible results and excruciating pain due to messing with the occlusion that caused TMD. Be aware, this dentist has no knowledge and training beyond a general dentist and he should not be allowed to crown more than one tooth as recommended by the dental board. The result may be beautiful but catastrophic? If the general dentist can do a full mouth crowns without training, why do specialists exist?!!

Negative experience: The person working at the reception at the clinic is very irresponsible and very unpleasant to communicate with. Her name is Katerina. She is the only Russian speaker and therefore the doctor cannot know how disgustingly she communicates with clients. Otherwise he would have fired her. I specifically flew to the clinic and talked with the doctor. Then I planned to come in October to install veneers, but the incompetent employee Katerina cannot or does not want to answer any of the organizational questions. After two months of wasted time, I decided to find another clinic. I don’t recommend anyone to contact the clinic, because if you have any questions, this is especially true after installing veneers, you simply won’t get through here. Irresponsible Katerina will not answer you and you will be left alone to solve your problems. Doctor, if you are reading this review, you better fire her. You are losing potential clients. I think I'm not the only one who left you for this reason.

After seeing and hearing about a lot of dentists which are available like sand on the beach, I was blessed and lucky enough to reach out to dr. Duval in Dubai. His outstanding and outrageous work just changes your view over every other dental work in the WORLD. I like to call the work of his “ a pearl in the wild sea”. The location of the clinic is in the middle of the heart of Dubais medical health street. The second you enter the Clinic, you get welcomed with a warm, kind and claiming smile from the receptionists. I am travelling from Germany. Fantastic experience: The moment I met Dr. Duval, I knew that my seemingly crazy decision to travel all the way from Chicago to Dubai for dental treatment was one of the best decisions I had ever made. He was so understanding of and sympathetic to, the frustrating dental journey that I had been on up until that point. During our first meeting, he took my hand, looked into my eyes, and told me that my teeth were now his teeth and he was going to give me the beautiful smile that I was meant to have. I felt such an immediate sense of relief. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that I was in the right place. I had previously undergone two full mouth reconstructions with the “best of the best” cosmetic dentists in both New York and LA- The dentists whose names you see at the very top of the “best of” list in any US magazine or publication. Fantastic experience: I am one of Dr. Duval ‘s oldest patients who did her smile 5 years back and I believe mine was one of the critical cases of Dr. Duval at the time too. So, for those who want to know about the long-term result of the patients of Dr Duval, I put my story. I had my lateral incisor missing naturally which is why I had gaps between my teeth. In order to fix that, I went to a local dentist back in my country who put metal crowns. It was not only horrid aesthetically but also functionally as my previous dentist shaved half of my frontal 6 teeth. When I went low on confidence, stopped smiling and wanted to get done with this nasty mistake of mine, I knew I had no room to play around with and I had to find the best dentist in the world this time. I researched for about 1.5 years across the globe and when I found Dr. Duval, I realized my search was over.
