Negative experience: I usually only leave reviews when I’m very happy with a service—but this time, I felt I needed to share my negative experience for the sake of awareness and in the hope that the clinic improves its service. I wouldn’t even be writing this review if what I paid was worth it. But 1600 AED for braces installation with a cheap bite plate? It really sucks. I had my braces done at Charisma Dental and honestly, I regret it. I didn’t check the reviews before going, and I wish I had, because I ended up experiencing many of the same issues that others had reported. They advertised a promotion on Facebook: Upper and lower braces starting from 500 AED, depending on the case, with 150 AED for adjustment including basic cleaning (upper teeth only). I fully understood that the cost could vary and was okay with it. During my first visit, the dentist seemed nice and explained that I had an overbite, so I needed a bite plate. She quoted a total of 1,600 AED for upper and lower braces plus the bite plate, and I agreed since they allowed Tabby installment payments. I also paid an additional 150 AED for the adjustment—which I wouldn’t mind if the work had been done properly. But here’s where everything started going wrong: • The bite plate they gave me felt cheap and uncomfortable (see attached photo). No case, no holder—just handed over like that. • I was very careful not to eat hard food, yet one bracket came off within an hour of installation. I even messaged them immediately when I got home (screenshot attached). I almost swallowed it. • They told me just to come back the next day and made it sound like it was no big deal. • I reported that I already had three brackets come off, and instead of urgency, I was told to wait until the next adjustment—unprofessional and dismissive. • The 150 AED I paid for “cleaning” and adjustment? The cleaning wasn’t done properly—maybe it was “basic” indeed, because it felt like nothing. • After the upper braces were adjusted, I was in pain. A wire was poking and cutting into my gums, making it hard to eat or talk. • Worst of all, the dentist performed some parts of the procedure using bare hands, without proper dental tools. That is completely unacceptable and unhygienic. In the end, I had to go to another dentist for a second opinion—and guess what? I was told everything needed to be removed and redone from scratch. The new dentist is charging almost half of what I paid at Charisma, using proper tools and explaining everything thoroughly. It honestly felt like I just threw away 1,600 AED. I was heartbroken. I trusted your clinic, and this was the result. And please don’t reply with the usual “you had a complicated case” excuse. My new dentist has explained everything clearly and handled my treatment with professionalism—which is what I expected from your clinic. [Update / Response to the clinic’s reply:] FYI, I would like to clarify a few things. I messaged right after the bracket fell off, and at that time, the clinic was still open. I even called, and the receptionist informed me that I could come anytime—but since I live far away, I couldn’t just keep coming back. I visited the clinic again a few days later to report the issue because I was already feeling very uncomfortable and couldn’t wait any longer, but the dentist just told me to wait until my next adjustment (visited the clinic for nothing). Also, saying that a wire extending is a sign that the braces are “actively working” doesn’t apply here. The wire was poking my gums right after installation, which clearly means it wasn’t cut properly—not a sign of progress. I patiently visited your clinic multiple times, hoping for better care, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. I genuinely expected proper treatment for the amount I paid. Lastly, while your receptionist was always kind, the dentist became less approachable with each visit. I will not be returning to your clinic, but I’m sharing my experience so you can hopefully do better next time and treat all your customers with professionalism and care. Thank you.

Negative experience: One Thing I will say to this Dental Clinic, NEVER GO IN THIS PLACE, FIND ANOTHER ONE, First , the place are so Dirty and Filthy, Second, even the Dentist is not changing her gloves and using to another patient, not sure in the tools if they are cleaning it before using it to another patient, (also not wearing mask during the operation, and the worst thing is that they are posting a price of braces around 500+ aed for upper and lower which is the normal rate but when you get there they will ask you for 1k plus for total package for 6 months including adjustments, and these turns out as a scammed because after you agree to put your braces on and paid for everything, (that is the reason why they I will ask you to sign for agreement). As when we came back for adjustment they will just say that it is not included for the payment that you have made and you have to pay them for 150aed for adjustment again and saying that this 500aed(lower/upper) is for fashion braces only or retainer which was not mentioned during the agreement, So ridiculous!! It was totally a scam, They will just take your Money and Brainwash you. There's a lot of better clinic out there, you just have to find the entrusted one but not this clinic.And If you are saying it depends on the CASE of the Teeth? whats with the metal Braces that you will cost 1300 AED are you for real? its Clearly not a CERAMIC BRACE! and the case of the teeth that it is just not that complicated? and beside why would I pay that such thing if I just knew you were scamming people, Other clinic were just charging 500-600 aed for metal braces regardless of the cases, Just Stop of your lie, Karma is real!

Negative experience: Yo, this clinic is a total rip-off! They advertised braces for 500 bucks, but when I got there, the dentist said that wouldn't work and I had to pay 1,500 for the "better" option. And get this, the place was filthy, and the dentist didn't even change his gloves after writing stuff down. To top it off, they cut my arch wire in half to make it fit my teeth! I went to another clinic, and the dentist there was laughing at how cheap my braces were and couldn't believe the other dentist had cut the wire. This place is a joke! Don't waste your money or trust your teeth to these clinic

Negative experience: Very very bad experience 1st of all once i entered there he ask me to give id when i give him id they check whats my job after that this doctor she call me she said 150 for nomal cleaning and deep cleaning 200 i was shocked coz they told yo my friend who send me there 75 for normal and 150 for deep but its ok no problem about money then i was shocked that she just clean my front teeth and she said done she really clean my teeth only in 10 mints
