Fantastic experience: The best teeth cleaning I’ve ever had with the amazing Hygienist Elnaz! I was absolutely dreading my visit after not having had a cleaning in a year or two but it couldn’t have been an easier and (as far as dental visits go) more enjoyable experience. Hygienist Elnaz talked me through every single stage and gave me such great advice for best practise in at home dental care and I left feeling much better about my dental health. I also must give a shout out to the brilliant reception staff who were just so much fun and nice! I couldn’t recommend Dr Michael’s more - providing a very human, customer focused and warm service in a city where many businesses lack that.

Negative experience: Extremely overpriced. We did not do our research when we arrived to Dubai and registered the whole family at Dr Michael’s. We recently explained to the clinic the new insurance policy and asked for a family discount. We were offered 10% for kids treatments, which was still pricy since the consultation together with cleaning is 1100 dirhams. When we suggested to do the cleaning only and leave the consultation out since we had one 6 months ago, Dr Racha told us that without the consultation she would not see our daughters and suggested we just take them to the hygienist at their clinic for adults. But this is completely defeats the point. The kids have been seen by Dr Racha already for some time, we didn’t want to disturb that relationship and were prepared to pay, but this suggestion was really upsetting, showing that there is no patient preference considerations, you feel your children are just numbers to them.

Her work is precise, thoughtful, and always guided by the best interest of the patient. She has a very peaceful atmosphere in her clinic and Doctor herself is very calm and composed, makes the children at ease always. Fantastic experience: I took my 5-year-old to Dr Michaels Dental centre for their first dental check-up, and I'm so impressed! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly putting my child at ease. The clinic is very child-friendly, with colorful décor and toys in the waiting area, which helped calm my little one’s nerves. Dentist was amazing with my child. They took the time to explain everything in a fun and easy-to-understand way, showing the dental tools and making sure my child felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. The gentle approach and patience were evident, and my child didn’t feel scared at all. The dental cleaning was quick and thorough, and Dr provided excellent advice on brushing habits and preventive care. I highly recommend Michael Dental Centre

Negative experience: I was assigned to an orthodontist, who is based at Dr Michael's, in late 2021 after my previous orthodontist left the UAE. I had already been receiving orthodontic treatment for 18 months by this point and should only have had around a years' worth of treatment remaining. By summer 2024, not only were my teeth not straightened, the orthodontist had created a whole new set of problems that required treatment. Having now been moved to a new orthodontist, I've been informed that it will be 2026 before treatment is completed, owing to the substantial corrections required as a result of the orthodontist's treatment. It is now impossible for me to entrust the Dr Michael's brand with the oral health of my family.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Martina is my go to dr in dubai!! Shes by far the most gentle and holistic hygienist she always gives you full attention & recommendations based on your history & preference. I recommend her 1000%

They have an excellent and very professional team that will welcome you and give you great service, from receptionist to nurses and doctors. The ambiance of the clinic is relaxing, even your kids will not get bored while waiting because they have huge playing area, ipads and books that they can used. I have my cleaning done with hygienist Marelize and she is superb!!!!!! she did a good job cleaning my teeth and explaining what to do to maintain good oral hygiene during this pandemic. Fantastic experience: Wow. I've had so many poor engagements with unprofessional dentists in Dubai, a visit to Dr Michaels to see Dr Sarah was a genuine pleasure. Engaging, professional, knowledgeable and a great bedside manner, made my normal trip to the dentist a relative delight. Additionally, the level and speed of correspondence with the Orthopaedic reception team subsequent to the visit has been outstanding. I rarely write reviews but felt obliged to for this level of service and follow up after care. Look no further than Dr. Michaels.

Negative experience: Very bad experience with non responsible management and doctors they are professional to run away from responsibility Just pay and go. We are trying to reach to someone after my daughter treatment but no one answering and giving proper justification to Dr mistake. The only answer we have someone will call you back and I am waiting from more Than 6 months and still trying. I don't recommend anyone to visit this clinic save your money and keep your children safe from panic.

Negative experience: The absolute worst! We took our 2 years and 7 months old daughter who sadly has a couple of cavities in her front teeth from breastfeeding days that got worse (we were mistakenly using Jack & Jill toothpaste which doesn’t have fluoride, but that’s a story for another day). Our appointment was with Dr. Mai Kamar, who ended up giving us a treatment plan that included putting our little one under GA to fix the cavities, and a couple of more decays in her molars that are in a very early stage as a precaution. Her consultation was for AED 600, and we paid another AED 550 for scaling & scaling, and AED 50 for fluoride. The treatment plan’s quote was AED 5,500 for the clinic, plus another AED 4K+ for Gargash Hospital. The next day we discovered the clinic is on Esaad and we could get 30% discount. Their website also mentioned the same promotion. When we asked for that, they kept pushing back and ultimately had the doctor speak to me (the mom) and actually claim she can’t give us anymore than 15% discount. Her language was also condescending, bringing up things that had nothing to do with the whole conversation, like my being pregnant and how things are expensive in Dubai. We were simply asking for something we’re entitled to based on the clinic’s own marketing; not to mention that’s it’s weird having a medical professional involved in commercial discussions. We decided to get a second opinion, and went to a highly recommended dentist, who was not only amazing, but also charged us a fraction of the consultation fees we paid at Dr. Michael’s. Clearly, Dr. Michael’s clinic is a commercially driven entity more than a medical one.

Negative experience: We had the worst experience ever at Dr Michael’s Childrens dental center. Because of their negligence and unprofessional work (full of mistakes), we had to travel and do a 3 hours dental operation for our child to fix the damages done. 4 pulpotomy treatments, 6 stainless steel pediatric crowns, 3 composite filling, root canal treatment and 4 fissure sealants eventhough it was already done before with this unprofessional dentist there . When I complained to the clinic, no one called me back nor replied to my email. This proves that it’s just a horrible and careless clinic. If you care about ur kids don’t send them there or please do x rays in other clinics to check. That’s exactly how I found out about the damages.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Samer Abdel Rahman is the best. We are lucky to find Dr.Samer and this brings a fullstop to my daughter's dental problems . My daughter was having cavities and we got fillings done from another clinic just a few days back. But, she was still complaining of teeth pain and had tough time in eating hard food since it was not done properly. We then visited a few more reputed pediatric dentists from other hospitals. But, none of them were sure in telling if the cavities had reached the nerve or not. They were not confident if fillings would help or needed a Root Canal and even my daughter didn't cooperate for Laughing gas with them. So, I was still searching for an expert doctor with a passion for Dentistry. God has been kind to us and we came across Dr.Samer who has done Sedation Dentistry from Harvard and is pursuing Dental Ph.D. We had a very satisfactory experience. Firstly, she herself came to the waiting area and made my daughter friendly with toys and then took her to the Treatment room. She examined and explained us in a very detailed way and has gracefully put crowns with Laughing gas instead of the invasive Root Canal and saved us from a traumatic experience. She recommended quarterly cleaning, flouride & regular water flossing. We are very grateful to you Dr.Samer. Visiting you every quarter would now be a part of our Dental hygiene routine. Thank you very much.

I highly recommend this Doctor to other Parents who's having difficulties in handling their children's behavior in terms of their dental health. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a dentist for your child, look no more. This is the most professional, the most friendliest a clinic I’ve ever been to. My daughter is 1 and half year old and it was her first time visiting a dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr Racha is absolutely incredible with kids. My kid literally can’t wait to go to the dentist. She explains everything and shows the tools to the kids before she even does anything. She takes a lot of time and doesn’t put pressure to get something done. It took 1 visit to Dr Racha and our child dropped both the pacifier and the milk at night from one day to another, just because of the encouragement of Dr Racha.
