Negative experience: They should’ve referred me to a proper TMJ specialist from the start. I wasted time and money with no clear solution. So, I was diagnosed with TMJ at this clinic, but they didn’t have a specialist for it. I was advised to buy a mouth guard worth 800 AED and use it for two months. After a week with no improvement, I was told to stop using it and was referred to another dentist not covered by my insurance. Since I already paid, I continued using the device as advised. After finishing the two months, I went back to follow up, and they promised another referral—yet it's been over three weeks with no response. I feel disappointed with how my case was handled.

Negative experience: This is our first time to visit this dental center and unfortunately its disappointing.,we came 7:30pm before any other clients but we stayed till 10pm and we leave.,the services are soo bad where they will keep telling us to wait 2 mins or 5 mins., even if were on a walk in but still its not right to keep us waiting for more than 2 hours,they should atleast dont give us wrong promise time .,its soo upsetting

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience I had in Sharjah. I felt completely safe and comfortable with Dr Ajmal. The level of service and care is nothing I have experienced before. The consultation was free and so was the full dental xray. He also gave me a prescription - all without a dirham out of my pocket. Fantastic experience: "I visited FAMILY DENTAL CENTER Sharjah to get my teeth straightened with Invisalign by Dr. Shahistha Parveen. Since I stopped wearing my retainer as a teenager, my teeth have been becoming increasingly misaligned. Although my teeth weren't particularly misaligned, they had begun to move and would only grow worse. Several local businesses gave me prices for Invisalign, and while they all seemed to be around the same price, they would only give me the entire treatment, which included limitless trays for five years. With Invisalign Lite, which was significantly less expensive, Dr. Shahistha was sure we could achieve a good outcome. I wasn't even offered it by any other orthodontist; they just began their sales pitch. Although I chose Dr. Shahistha due to the lower cost, I'm primarily happy with the care I received. The doctor is very skilled and made minor adjustments to the treatment that would not have been made by a doctor who would have simply sent you home with trays. She paid attention to my worries and gave me a thorough explanation. Even the time to adjust my trays was taken by her. My teeth and bite are flawless at the end. According to a lot of accounts I've read online, most individuals need to receive multiple rounds of trays before they are satisfied, so don't expect the first one to be perfect. Dr. Shahistha made a few adjustments, but perhaps my case was trivial enough that it wouldn't have been necessary anyhow. Dr. Shahistha and the Family Dental Center have my sincere gratitude. I probably would have required the more costly option if I had waited a few more years and my teeth had gotten worse. Instead of taking the easy route and pressuring me into a more costly option, she handled my issue as though it were a unique one. It demonstrates how respectfully she handles her patients. In addition to being extremely nice and kind, Dr. Shahistha and her staff take the time to ensure that everything is done correctly.

Negative experience: Please be mindful regarding any dental issues, especially regarding children. We had bad experience regarding our son root canal. We spend AED 800+ for root canal and within 2 weeks the infection came back. They blame it on cap which was not done. We had informed them that it was not approved by insurance and we had plans for cap in the coming months. We consulted another doctor and they confirmed that the infection had been severe and extraction was the best option. Dont know how such clinic is getting 4.5+ ratings. We have our son who is suffering for last one month .
