Negative experience: Very disappointing experience at Aster clinic discovery garden with dermatologist in room number 16. I went in just to get a prescription for a medication I’ve been using with proper lab results. Normally, any responsible dermatologist provides a 2-3 month prescription not forces patients to come back monthly just to pay again. The dermatologist was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me: “Don’t waste patient’s time”, even though I had everything prepared. Her attitude was cold and made me feel completely unwelcome like I was just a number, not a patient. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: I book appointment to Barsha but they cancel my appointment due to doctor's emergency, then I went to Tecom but my treatment was not complete. they send me to JLT cause they don't have untrasound then doctor was off. Then I need to run to discovery branch sadly I came 1:30 I need to wait till 3:30 cause doctor is on break!! Instead of feeling better you feel more stress. PATIENT is not priority for them. Amazing! I will. Never comeback to aster after this treatment. PRIME is far better.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. There are too many delays in seeing the doctor. They are recommending too many checkups and medicines, which may not be necessary. I feel this is happening only at the Gardens branch. One of the ladies takes the OTP from us and enters the rating herself.

Negative experience: I have been consulting with the same insurance and same doctor in this aster clinic for months. Today on my monthly follow up consultation the staff suddenly denied my consultation saying the insurance is not covered. They did not even bother to check or give a reason. I have consulted the doctor in March, April and May with the same insurance without any issues. Now suddenly they claim it is not covered anymore. It looked like the staff did not want to put in the effort of checking with insurance and just rejected me. I made it clear that nothing has changed with my insurance but they were least bothered to even cross check. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Subject: Feedback on Morning Visit to Discovery Branch – Token System Mismanagement My wife and I visited the Discovery Branch this morning to give fasting blood samples at the lab. We arrived at 7:00 AM, well ahead of the clinic’s opening time of 7:30 AM, and were first in line among several people waiting outside. At 7:20 AM, the clinic doors were opened, and everyone was asked to sit inside. The staff at the reception arrived at 7:25 AM and switched on the token machine, instructing everyone to take a token. This led to a rush, and despite being first in line, we were pushed back by others trying to get ahead. I raised my concern to the receptionist, mentioning that we had come early and should be attended to accordingly. He responded that the clinic opens only at 7:30 AM and that there was no way to know who came first. Eventually, I had to address the crowd, asking everyone to maintain decency, which led them to step back and allow us to take the first token. This situation could have been easily avoided if the receptionist had managed the queue in a more orderly manner—for example, by ensuring tokens were distributed based on arrival order or by delaying entry until the token system was active. Allowing people in without a working token machine led to unnecessary confusion and frustration. I believe this reflects a gap in the branch’s operational planning. Managing a crowd, especially one with fasting patients early in the morning, requires more sensitivity and better coordination. I hope you will take this feedback constructively and take steps to improve the process for future patients. Thanks

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed with Aster Clinic Discovery Gardens Visited Aster Clinic (Discovery Gardens) for an eye consultation with in May. Although the visit was covered under insurance, we were charged at the time. We have followed up in person more than 5 times for a refund, and each time we have been given the runaround. No proper response, no accountability just redirection from one person to another. This has been going on for over a month, and frankly, it’s exhausting and unprofessional. If the clinic makes a mistake, the least they can do is fix it without making patients chase them endlessly. The lack of customer service is shocking. Still waiting for the refund, let’s see how many more visits it’ll take.

Negative experience: I had taken my wife to this hospital for a blood test since she was a pregnant.I approached the lady upfront to give us a bit of priority as my wife was suffering from nausea(initial stage of pregnancy).But surprisingly she denied my request by saying we need to wait until they call out her name and made us wait for an hour. Negative experience: My experience at Aster Clinic Discovery Gardens was deeply disappointing from start to finish. It starts with a registration fee, making you think you’re about to receive premium care — but the reality is far from it. Appointment delays of 5–10 minutes seem to be completely normal, with no respect for patients’ time. The orthopaedic doctor I saw didn’t diagnose my case correctly and seemed disengaged and uninterested, as if he was just going through the motions. I was then sent for 5 physiotherapy sessions for neck pain, which only worsened my condition. Eventually, I went to Al Zahra Clinic, where a doctor immediately understood the issue and referred me to a competent physiotherapist. Just 3 sessions later, the pain was gone. The additional 2 sessions were only for muscle release and prevention. If you’re considering Aster because it’s close by — think again. Sometimes an extra 10-minute drive is worth it to get proper care, accurate diagnosis, and real relief. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone serious about their health.

Negative experience: Walk in takes tooooo much time. Even if you got the token number, your turn is still uncertain. You need to wait for atleast 2 hours. Even the staff is not sure how long will it takes before you are called. Worst experience ever.

Negative experience: Worst experience especially the radiology department. They never manage their token or timing; experienced this couple of time. It is been 2 hrs I am sitting here today ( 6th may) for my wife still they are struggling to handle the patient time due to the volume of patients. management should consider to put additional doctors if the current doctor is not sufficient to handle the volume, it s not acceptable to keep the patients for hours.

I was not aware about the male doctor was vaginal ultrasound, but assistant Sriya helped me and made me too comfortable about the whole procedure.
